Yes! Very 80’s with the puffy sleeves and the hot pink on black dresses. It screams my moms prom dress from the late 80’s, especially the last look shown. Not my fav and not what the designer was going for initially… I think?? Lol
@@savannahstott2498OH I remember the black and pink in the 80's. I had a light pink and black taffeta dress, poofy sleeves and all. I looked ridiculous. 😊
I think it’s normal sometimes designers could make a magic, sometimes they make it looks tragic but hopefully in the next season he can make more magic and stun us!
I like aspects of it. I think Christan needs to focus on getting celebrities in this clothes. I think he would thrive if he produced collections every other or every third year. So his return would be anticipated and exciting
Well let’s be glad fashion is opinionated because I loved the whole entire collection…Christian dresses women of all shapes and sizes & that alone deserve an applause 👏🏾 thatisall
Never saw him as fierce back in the day - always found myself making faces when I saw his work. I was shocked to learn that he’s still around, that’s how little I care. 🤷🏻♀️
As much as I know people shade him I know his clothes would look better if they were being produced at higher end factories. His bespoke work is always beautiful crafted but he simply doesn’t have the budget to match his aesthetic and it shows. I respect it more though because you have the opposite end of so many brands like The Row and Torch Burch or Gabriella Hearst and on and on who produce collections that truly and designer with that budget and a mood board could produce. This is why I mostly save critiques for the top dawgs because I expect more and they can meet those expectations. Imagine Christian with Zac Posen level investment now that would be worth criticizing.
Ohh I knew!!! Hahaha I knew that as soon as I saw Christian Siriano and Hautelamode it’s gonna be funny. And you delivered. I’d have to say I agree 💯 with you. Stuff is looking more and more like the Great Value version of fashion.
There were a couple nice pieces but I don’t love them enough that they carry the collection. Maybe if some of these were styled they could work for a music video moment or something like that.
He was made famous by dressing people other designers would not dress not due to his designs so it is what it is I think you nailed it but I love his heart
The dress coco was wearing reminds me of late 90s Dior. It’s the most fabulous low-key couture item I saw this season. Maybe it was just Coco breathing life into it, but I loved it.
