Most of Kevin's hiking partners do filter (to some degree) what they say. However Christian was a complete open book, which led to a flowing conversation - which was refreshing! Kevin, as always, was great again!

@@ryandlion6961 Yeah, he had problems with drugs and alcohol. He did a couple months in jail after assaulting his girlfriend and a police officer after a cocaine and heroin binge. Glad to hear he's sober and I hope he stays that way.

Man, Kevin Nealon makes anyone look like a hobbit being 6'4". In great shape too (and Christian Slater is fantastic too). Talking for a 20 minute hike through a canyon is not an easy thing. I'm sure it was even long before editing. They are both people goals. Hope to see Christian Slater on the big screen soon.

For those unacquainted with where they are hiking, it's not easy. It is far steeper than it looks and the dry, sandy soil provides no leverage. CS has always been a fave. So stoked to see him healthy.

@@lesliealvarado2918 Runyon Canyon. There are a few different trails on it but where they come out is Mulholland Drive. There is a paved area from that lot that goes down a ways and gives nice views of LA and the Hollywood sign for those not up for a more strenuous hike. Just be mindful of neighbors as there are homes there. :)

Agree. He seems very guarded. I'm sure years of being treated poorly in interviews and having his words taken out of context has a lot to do with that. I watched an interview he did at the 1989 Oscars rehearsal when he was 19 and he was much less guarded/jaded. I found the interview a tad heartbreaking as to me it shows how jaded/reserved he has had to become growing up in this business

Kevin, love this format. All of us "common folk" in middle America get to know the real personalities of the stars. I already knew some of the personalities, but this really brings them to light. Some I have been totally shocked with...celebrities that I thought would be sweet and forthcoming were self-serving and downright curt and abrasive. Then others that I thought would be egomaniacs were sweet and down to earth. Keep up the great work. This is very enlightening. Thanks!

Poor Christian, you can tell he hates talking about Heather's. I get that it was a very important and great movie in his day (hell in OUR day, I was born in '85 and saw Heather's in my early teens when I started collecting and appreciating film), but he has done so much more important work to his heart, probably even Billie Jean for example, but everybody has always asked him about Heathers
