As a kid, I couldn't understand why my mom wouldn't let us celebrate Halloween. All the kids were having fun in my eyes. When I got in my teens, I started to participate in worldly things. This includes putting on a costume and going out. Even in my 20s, I would go to parties. But Towards the end cause I'm 30 now, I felt convicted in my spirit and I had to admit this was wrong ( all of it) . I had to stop watching scary movies as well cause that opens doors to things.
Please, pray for my older daughters. That is where they are right now. They know the Truth, but they have walked away from Jesus and are living in the world. Your testimony reminds me that God is faithful 🙌🏻
Very similar, my parents never once let us celebrate Halloween & I always thought I was missing out but now as a parent myself I do not let my children celebrate bc it’s literally a ritual where they sacrificed humans. More than 800,000 children go missing a year & many in the weeks leading up to Halloween. 🤔
I'm a former Witch and I was convicted by the Lord this year and threw out everything and gave my life to Jesus. My family has had a hard time accepting that I found the Lord and was convicted to not participate in Halloween. I was the one always throwing the parties, but I was also partaking in rituals as well. Half of them are Christian and don't see anything wrong with Halloween. When I explain it's true history I'm looked at like I'm crazy. Me, the person who used to see spirits and do Tarot readings and spells, which they all accepted but I say No to Halloween and it's wrong. This world has really clouded the minds of people, even Christians. I have to tell myself that everyone's walk with Christ is different and pray for them. I appreciate seeing video's like this because people need to be aware of the Darkness that shrouds this holiday. Lately I have also felt convicted of Christmas because that as well has a lot of Pagan traditions.
Its wonderful to hear that you have found Jesus! Most Christian holidays have pagan roots. We need to follow God's word and not the world. I don't celebrate "Christmas" and "Easter" as the world does anymore and some family and friends do not understand this. But I don't care about making them comfortable... its about what God wants.
Jeremiah 10: The whole chapter is about not doing xtmass, making statues, and graven images. Most Christians will not read it, or let the Holy Spirit guide them. Others will say its just about statues. I always seek the Holy Spirits interpretation of scripture. Not mans interpretation of it.
I think the saddest thing is that the Christian churches, for quite a few decades, let us down by not teaching us more about the spirits, spiritual warfare, and the accountability that we have by participating in these pagan holidays. thanks to social media. Amen. Once I found out what Halloween meant and represented my children were 8, 6, 4 and 3 months old. I explained the reason we were no longer celebrating Halloween and we never did as they were growing up. My youngest child is now 29 yo. They all have kids now, my youngest will every now and then allow their kids to celebrate and I remind her we are Christians and we don’t celebrate it. My family immigrated to US from the Easter Europe about 20 years ago. We were absolutely appalled by this holiday. Now my kids are asking me about why we don't celebrate Halloween because some kids from their Christian school celebrate this holiday. My answer is that the Bible states many times where it stands on witchcraft and that we as Christians should have nothing to do with it.
I always knew something was wrong with this holiday. As a Christian myself I to one to celebrate Halloween, and I started to think. Why are there monsters and witches and dead people walking around and being accepted? Even the word trick or treat. I myself immigrated from Europe 30+ yrs ago and my family was in shock as well being this nation is supposed to be “Christian.” Now that I have my own children it’s a bit harder bc my husband is American and a Christian but this was always acceptable. I’m the only one in my (Christian) household that doesn’t celebrate Halloween. I dread this time of year. I hate being surrounded by anything remotely celebratory of darkness. Praying my parents and sister get convicted in this area 🙏 i fell away from the church a few years ago and started practicing witchcraft so this time of year tends to bring up some horrible memories. Edit to add that my family celebrates by putting up “cute” decorations that are not scary and pass out candy to trick-or-treaters. While i still believe it is wrong, i don’t want to paint them in a way to make them seem like they are super into the overt darkness of the “holiday” My family was a very important part of my returning to Jesus as they had been showering me with prayers while i was blinded. I grew up celebrating all of these pagan holidays in a Christian home.. I also passed down the “traditions” to my children. I found out about the pagan holidays 5 years ago and it made me physically sick. I actually became depressed for a month. I had no idea! It’s been difficult explaining this to my children and us not participating no longer. My mother feels the exact same way. She feels even worse because she passed these traditions down to my sisters and I. A lot of people don’t know this.. they don’t know that the majority of the holidays we celebrate in America were originally banned bc they all have pagan origins. The ones that bother me are Halloween (obviously), Xmas (there’s no Christ in Christmas), and Easter… (The name alone should give you a clue of what pagan “god” influenced this holiday). My heart hurts this time of year, every year. This use to be my FAVORITE time of year. But once you know… you’re held accountable.

I actually use Halloween as an opportunity to share the gospel. I do buy candy & make goodie bags(nothing with monsters or ghosts, etc) but in each one I put a little card with scripture on it. Ex: "Taste and see the goodness of the Lord" For some kids, this may be the only exposure to the Word they get. Just hope to plant some seeds. 😊 The kids are coming to my door anyway, so why not?

My wife is Wiccan and I am an atheist. I have many friends who are Wiccan or pagan. Nothing has ever moved in any of our homes. I have never experienced anything that would even remotely be considered supernatural.
As a preachers daughter , I used to always want to celebrate Halloween bc I thought it was cool. It was not a coincidence that every year I wanted to go to a Halloween party it always got canceled. Hold the line parents. It's not gonna be easy. I made the decision to stop celebrating and letting my children celebrate while my children were young and everyone fought me on it. For a people pleaser like myself that was very difficult but I stood strong because the Lord convicted my heart on it. I wish I could say I responded with obedience right away but it took me a couple years to stand up and do what was right. My family, children, friends, all fought me on this and homeschooling. Even my husband and I mourned the loss of Halloween celebration.

We were invited to a Halloween party an declined, they assured me it wasn't a bad party just a get together an they dress up. But the Lord told us to separate ourselves an we'd be not liked for our beliefs. It's funny how they try to convince us it's ok when it's not. Then they ask for prayer for stuff that's not right in there lives. You know them by there fruit. Don't celebrate it..it's not ok God doesn't like it.

There is a testimony on there by Carol Kornacki about all that she learned about halloween when she was practicing witchcraft. It's really interesting and informative. It opened my eyes a lot, and gave me a better understanding why it's not a holiday we should celebrate.

This is the first video I've watched on your channel and it pricked my heart. I was raised Pentecostal from childhood until I left at 19 and that 21 years ago. Since my husband's suicide I've struggled mentally and I've found myself wanting to work my way back to God. What I've struggled with is many of today's churches only want to pump out sugar coated feel good messages and even as a 'backslider' I see the times we are living in. I know we are living in the end times and I've been disappointed attending today's modern Christian churches. Why aren't they preaching and talking about preparing for what's to come? Why aren't they warning people about the darkness that wants to trick us into missing the mark? Why don't they want to give sermons involving the warnings in Revelation? Growing up we weren't allowed to celebrate Halloween and I've strayed so far that over time I've become comfortable with Halloween. This message made me cry because these are the messages I miss hearing because they are truthful messages that don't sugar coat things out of fear of offending someone. It's what I needed to hear. I feel the same way, I've started to come to RU-vid. But I found a preacher I like. Called Isaiah Saldivar, he did a revival in Yakima. About the end times, and as a whole body. The church is not prepared and has such a mixture of the world. It was an amazing teaching! Highly recommend him.

They fill up their trunks with candy, and have the kids go from car to car in cute and nice costumes as they say. I even gave the bishop literature I bought teaching on Halloween. My thing is, doesn't matter how you try to twist it if you're celebrating you're celebrating. Kansas has a big Psychic Fair in October every year. I have been saying that October is a very draining month for Christians, because we need to pray more, we need to fast more. We need to pay attention!! I used to practice witchcraft with my friends. One Halloween we all got together and made altars for our ancestors, did tarot readings, and welcomed them into our space. We then got super drunk and went out to party. I’ve never ever experienced anything like this before, but it felt as though someone else had taken over my body, and the other of my friends said the same thing. At one point in the night one of my friends had a violent outburst that was almost really bad. As a Christian now I feel nauseated that I was ever convinced that was a positive thing to do. Sis I was black and blue in the face trying to explain this to someone who calls himself a Christian and he was there saying him and his christian friends celebrate halloween and there is no demonic possession that happens and that there is nothing wrong with it...I responded by telling him that he obviously have no clue about the spiritual environment he is in....instead of people to research what others are saying about it, they just blindly defend it. If someone mentions that something is possibly not of God i'm going to research it, and if that is confirmed i'm dropping it.

I'm 36 years old and I've celebrated Halloween every year until last year. It was another video that my husband found that convinced us as Christians not to partake in the devils holiday. We too were asleep to the problems with Halloween. Our 7 year old son has taken it very well. We have clear lines that we don't cross. Thank you for spreading the truth.

Also, there were many Christian videos that explained the origins of Halloween in a way I never understood. Mainly, it was the Holy Spirit conviction that convinced me. Once He tells you something is wrong there is no denying it :)

He has not missed carving pumpkins, decorating, wearing a costume, or trick or treat. We as parents must protect our children from the dangers of this world. Especially the ones we can't see. We should want our souls and our kids' souls to go to Heaven. I'm willing to do whatever it takes.
I resonated with your statement of “I was asleep”. I definitely felt asleep until very very recently. When I started really dedicating myself to Jesus I heard in my heart / mind that “there’s very little time left, make a decision”. So I chose Jesus. I literally had my costume picked out, I was sooooo excited to celebrate and as soon as I chose Jesus, before I watched any video, in my heart I felt I shouldn’t celebrate Halloween. Then I saw all these videos.
As a kid I always believed Holloween was just about dressing up and getting candy. It was mostly about getting free candy for me because other than that it was too cold and I used to be scared to go to some house. I didn’t understand until I got older, the hints and jokes ( supposedly) about Halloween began to make sense but at first figured I just outgrew it. I understand now that my uneasy feeling was from God and he’s always be there to let me know when something isn’t right but as I’ve grown closer to him. I can sense things before it happens and I’ve given up allot of worldly events I used to celebrate as a kid.

I celebrated last year for my younger brother but this year my conviction from Holy spirit was so strong not to celebrate in any way including watching/supporting horror and Halloween movies. Easter is actually resurrection Sunday. The day Crist rose from the dead. It's now called Easter cuz Satan co-opted it. Easter was celebrated for the godess (demon) Ishtar. She was celebrated for fertility and new life. Eggs, bunnies, all part of fertility rites. Do away with the eggs and bunnies and such, give it back its rightful name and place. Resurrection sunday...in the old testament it is identified as the Feast of first fruits. Christ fulfilled that feast on its exact day just as he has fulfilled passover. And the feast of unleavened bread. We need to take back that Holy Day just like we need to reclaim the rainbow from this unGODLY blasphemous group that choose to use a symbol of GOD'S promise of mercy to the world as a banner for abominations showing contempt for His rich mercy and promise.
This was spot on. One thing I want to add is, this pagan holiday does involve sacrifice. I cant go into it due to the change in cencorship rules, but I can say this one thing....burning man. Hopefully yall can put 2 and 2 together. Once I found out the true origins and meanings of halloween, as well as all other holidays, I quit participating in them. If you look into each and every holiday, you will learn how they came about. I dont judge others for their choices, but as for me, I personally can't participate in any of them. Better is He that is within me than he that is within the world. Yes yes. I’m now 52-last year as Halloween approached I started feeling off-no excitement-no desire to bring out all the decorations I have collected 20 plus years. I would want to start decorating but I COULDNT.. I felt as though I was being shown “feeling wise” that Halloween was BAD. My husband asked me were we fixing up the house and I told him NO. I explained how I was being led to know that I am to NOT participate in pagan rituals. I am a Christian and have been since the age of 11. We are blindsided in many things and this so called holiday is actually a seance to the dead. We people have brought candy into the mix--don’t take candy from strangers is the mantra yet we obliviously take our children to get candy from strangers all night long. So we tell our children all years long do not talk to strangers yet 1 night a year we promote talking to strangers and taking candy from them. If we really open our eyes we can see it’s an evil holiday.
Same here , I am 47 yrs old and spent Thousands on decorations for Halloween and since 2017 when I got saved I started being convicted on this and in 2019 I started having nightmares and being convicted so strongly that I got rid of all decorations and stopped participating in any haunted houses, horror movies , ext. Thank God I was brought out of this evilness!

Walking my own path/walk with Jesus Christ for myself has been hard because of things like this! These "altars" are like the Roman Catholic tradition as well. My ex husband had an "altar" in our old house. Candles, pictures, beads, and personal things. He would even call it an altar to his momma. In 2014 we divorced, in 2016 i was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2017 i was born again and my ex asked if i needed a place to live and i could rent a room from him. We are best friends but not husband and wife, we do not share a bed or a bedroom, he sold the other house and the new house he bought no longer has an altar thank God! 2022 i was diagnosed with breat cancer again in May 2023 i had a bilateral mastectomy I still rent from him and pray for him to be saved. He just went to the doctor and looks like he my have prostate cancer waiting to see the results but the dictor said he believes it is just need to see how minor or major it is. Please pray for him to be born again.

This is something my husband and I have spoken about. Whether we should allow our future children to partake in maybe a church setting of fall festivities and dress up for fun but explain when they’re old enough. It's been maybe 2 years since I stop celebrating Halloween. All I can think of is all my childhood I didn't know about that stuff. Anyways, I think the older you get, the more you realize that Halloween is some weird tradition.
Yes, many of in the U.S. grew up ignorant about the meaning of Halloween. Christian households celebrated by trick or treating and giving out candy and dressing up in costumes. But we have opportunities to learn better about many things, Halleluyah.

So glad you are speaking on this. It is frightening how many Christians still celebrate Halloween, whether it’s dressing up, handing out candy, etc. I felt a heavy conviction about Halloween a few years ago which made me completely turn away from this pagan tradition. Despite being a Christ-follower my whole life, I would still dress up with friends, go to “Halloween parties”, and hand out candy to kids. I believe even this was wrong-doing, and I am grateful for the Holy Spirit’s conviction. The darkness I feel on Halloween night is no doubt a spiritual darkness. The enemy celebrates this night. I want NO part in this unless it is to hit my knees and PRAY against the darkness.

If you read majority of these comments people have come out saying THEY started feeling conviction from the Holy Spirit on these holidays and decided to not celebrate. I’ve noticed residents and even businesses decorating for Halloween as early as the middle of September. It’s crazy. And the huge skeletons towering over rooftops are over the top and becoming very popular.

I’ve always known that Halloween was a day when the spirits could supposedly come be among us, but I’ve always thought the reason for the ‘evil costumes’ was so the spirits would think you were one of them so they wouldn’t hurt you. However, I have never heard of it being a Christian holiday. I never would’ve even thought it!!! That’s insane!!!

I use to celebrate Halloween as a little kid, (around 5 and under) and I never got told until I was 6 what it kind of meant. I’ve always been told for the rest of my life that Halloween was the Devil birthday. I’m just glad that u make these videos!
I know a lady who was raised Catholic and she was asking me something one day (can’t remember how we got on the subject) but she mentioned praying to her ancestors for something she wanted and I thought to myself, “Who are these ‘ancestors’ that people who practice these things are talking to? I know they’ve never met them, how do you know WHO you’re asking for these things?”. I have another friend who switched to Wicca a few years ago. She doesn’t do ALL of the witchy things now but she does still do tarot card readings and “offerings”. At least the girl who was showing how to make the altar was raised in it and had a picture of a relative she actually knew, while it’s still what it is she had an actual foundation with it. My friend does not. So WHO is she making offerings to? 🤨
In Mexico people celebrate Día de los Muertos. (Day of the dead) you make altars and you add their favorite food and add pictures and orange flowers. Scents. I decided to celebrate that instead of Halloween, but I realized that in the Bible it says not to talk to the dead. The ones that show up are demons. So I no longer celebrate that either. People paint their faces like skeletons. It's very demonic to when you realize it. I threw out scary movies away. I don't want to open doors. My great grandmother was a Curandera. It's like a healer but it's rituals. I remember my Mom said the skeleton would come at night. Now I realized Satan had Dominion over her. Mt mother lived with her as a child until she got married. I had a brain tumor. Lung tumors. Couldn't have kids. I was a mess. My daughter has so many allergies including peanut and asthma. My son ADHD. I realized my family had generation curses. I have rebuked those curses. And have been prayed over. I was just told by his high school that my son doesn't show ADHD anymore. (Testing) he was so severe he had a para. He still will have the services because he was diagnosed. My daughter runs at school and her lungs are getting stronger. She was always hospitalized all the time in intensive care since she was 2 until she was 6. They prayed for her and they said she would not ever be hospitalized for asthma. I was skeptical because it took dust and she was wheezing. We are covered by the blood of Jesus. And no demonic forces can harm us, in Jesus name.

This will be my first year not celebrating Halloween. I spoke to my husband and children about it and prepared them ahead of time. But last week a close friend invited me to her child’s Halloween themed birthday party. I don’t know what to do! My family keeps telling me to go that it’s no big deal. In my spirit I feel like I shouldn’t go. I also don’t know how my friend is going to feel! No one seems to understand.
This is a tough situation. People think these situations only arise if you know a lot of non-Christian’s but it’s something that can happen even amongst Christian’s. I grew up knowing so many Christian families that openly and joyfully celebrated Halloween. Because they think by making it more cute, fun and about candy that it takes away the dark roots. I would explain to your friend why you dont celebrate Halloween or anything associated with it. But that you wish her child a blessed birthday. A friend would understand. As far as your family it’s tougher. You have to stay rooted in the Bible and truth. Explain to them lovingly why you don’t want to celebrate Halloween and pray to Jesus that he blesses them with understanding as well.

I’m Christian and I grew up with Halloween, I went trick or treating and carved pumpkins, but slowly as I got older I started watching horror movies. Now I realize how horrible the movies are, just opening a door for demons to enter.

I’m a Christian and I’ve always been. Every year we would go out dressed up as a Barbie or Mad Hatter or something silly and fun. Times have changed we aren’t living in medieval times. Halloween is an excuse to gather, dress up and play games and have fun. I’ve always thought of it as a good time. I’m definitely open to not celebrating Halloween if God doesn’t want that. We don’t worship Samhain or whatever I worship Jesus Christ that want to see friends dress up on a certain day. I’m not superstitious, and I know I’m protected by the Holy Spirit. One time I was sitting in the park and there was an alter with fruit in a bowl and other things; it was in late October so I guess it was for this holiday that he is talking about and some people came around in masks. I was about 100 yards away so I couldn't here them, plus I was watching a movie on my phone. After a while one of them came over to me and offered me some fruit and I was like: Hell NO I DON'T WANT THAT! WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO DO? IN JESUS NAME GET AWAY FROM ME!

It’s funny cause, I went to Catholic school my whole life and I remember learning about this story in 2nd grade and they would tell us this story, while we would carve pumpkins for our Halloween parties… at a CATHOLIC school. As a kid I always wondered why we did Halloween, who staryed it and when we couldn't go to strangers houses we could on Halloween. It was a time to scare people and waych scary movies and go to haunted houses and walk through grave yards! I loved it then ...but now I look back and think giw really real it all was and is! I'm from Portugal and we're not used to celebrating halloween. We only celebrated it at school because it was part of the English class, which made me interested in this festival and I decorated my house according to the day. I questioned myself, and being a Christian I stopped "celebrating" it. I didn't know the origin of halloween and I'm grateful for your explanation. We in Portugal have the custom on the 1st of November to celebrate the "Bread for God". Children go from door to door asking for Bread for God and receive what people want to give.
Hey I’m from California but most of my ancestors came from Portugal to Massachusetts so some of my family still lives there and I really want to go. I also belive that we shouldn’t celebrate Halloween being that what has happened is terrible I always feel there are dark spirits during halloween roaming the air.
My husband’s family is Mexican and I thought that November 1st was the day of the dead. I always thought it was similar to Halloween. My husband is Christian and doesn’t believe in either of these two holidays (halloween and the day of the dead).

By the way, the day of bread for God, came about due to the Lisbon earthquake in,1st November of 1755. There was a lot of destruction and people were left without their possessions, with nothing to eat. In this way, they went from door to door asking for the Bread for God in order to survive. So on the 1st of November is All Saints' Day and the Day of Bread by God

It is not an accident this video was suggested to me. I am an SRA survivor and former practicing Wiccan. I was raised in a household that glorified Halloween. Recently, the Lord has been urging me to stop celebrating Halloween. I too, have been getting nauseous about the whole holiday; to the point I am not even mentioning trick or treating to my daughter. Honestly u just sparked a song i learned when i was in middle school years ago called "Soul Cake" or "Soulin" it was a song about the children who would ask for food in exchange for money. On Halloween a few years ago I just arrived home with my newborn. I did not like the spiritual environment at the time and decided to pray. Shortly after we noticed that the gas had been left on by a family member by mistake (young teenager deciding to learn how to cook 🤦), fortunately all the smokers were out at that point.
