I think it is sweet that Christie Brinkley's daughter looks like her dad. I can't even imagine how proud Billy Joel is of his daughter and especially because she looks like him she is a gorgeous young lady. He is a handsome man. People are so stupid.

I had the opportunity to meet Ms. Brinkley on two separate social occasions, she was lovely and gracious. She is a sweet lady and seemingly a good mom.
She is not alone, she just happens to know more people than the rest of us. Many people are so eat up with jealousy that they just can't help themselves. Your daughter is stunning...Period. And by the way, if I had the means for a few tweaks here and there, I would certainly take advantage What a wonderful world we live in, where we have these opportunities. I hope she is strong enough to just ignore it, and rock the beautiful young woman that she is!
I can't be the only one. I think Alexa is absolutely gorgeous. I always have. And I love watching her perform (unfortunately only on RU-vid. I don't get out much.) She's very talented, with a wonderful voice and an engaging style. But with regard to her looks, she's just as beautiful as can be.
She has come a long way...beautiful woman who has come into her own. She has so much charm, grace, and is so much more secure about herself. Very down to earth and her parents raised her remarkably down to earth! Keep up the good work alexa!

Your daughter is stunning, its sad what she has to go through when just being a young adult in this upside down world is enough. I brought my two beautiful daughters up knowing the sad fact that they would be disliked and picked on just because they are pretty. Sad but true.
It's funny, I never consider Christie Brinkley to be beautiful, I honestly wouldn't notice her at the mall. But, Alexa Ray Joel is incredibly gorgeous in my opinion, and she has her mother's one feature that I actually like which is her smile. Beauty really is in the eye of the beholder.

@Athena Onyx. I agree with you. It is in the eyes of the beholder. I've never been fond of the "blonde beach girl" look. I've always thought that Alexa is beautiful. She has, in my humble opinion, exotic European beauty. More importantly I've seen interviews with her and she is a warm, sensitive and talented woman. Some things are obvious even on TV.

there's nothing wrong with her looks, even before her nose job. the problem was/is, she's the daughter of a supermodel. people, for some reason, felt that she should look exactly like her mother. but she came out looking like a rock star instead
I've always believed Christie Brinkley is a good mom, and you can see here that she is a staunch supporter of her child, Alexa, who, by the way, is quite lovely.
I still can't believe people were making fun of her looks and claiming she had surgery. How terrible. Alexa is an amazing person and she has two awesome parents who I love. There is nothing wrong with her looks at all, in fact she seems to be a mix of both her parents which is really cool. She's really talented too!
See, more people should think this way. There's already enough trouble in the world, why does the media and society in general have to be so mean? It's really not that hard to just say something nice and move on, or just keep your mouth shut. Even if you don't agree with someone and their personal choices they are still human. You can fall in love with someone without having intercourse. Hollywood is filled with people who fall in love making a movie-look at Ali Macgraw and Steve mcQueen or Catherine Hepburn and spencer Tracey in fact -very few have not cheated in hollywood . Christie Brinkley is a mother, and all mothers defends their child. So, nothing is different when it comes to a parent protecting their kids. Her daughter is beautiful, I wish I had a super model as a mom, would have gotten better make up advice, like Alexa might have gotten.
