S Kirk So says your Old Testament God. But he also says a lot of other things you completely ignore. How is it, if homosexuality is such a heinous sin Jesus never mentioned it once, not even in passing? If you're going by what St. Paul said, once again, your cherry picking among Paul's many and varied fulminations, many of which I'm sure you don't agree with, like predestination, submissive wives, long hair on men, silent women in church, women in teaching authority over men, etc., etc., etc..
S Kirk Ah, so now you're willing to admit some homosexuals are born that way. What does that do to your theory that God hates homosexuality? Why would he create even a handful of homosexuals if he hates homosexuality? That would mean the few homosexuals he creates are predestined to hell, wouldn't it? Don't tell me you believe in predestination as well? As for the majority of present day homosexuals choosing to be gay because homosexuality is now accepted by society, how do you even claim to have a brain and come up with pure nonsensical drivel like that? You do realize you're saying that most gays are born attracted to both sexes, but choose at some point to completely ignore their attraction to the opposite sex in favor of having exclusive sex with members of the same sex? That's a new one on me. I've never heard that theory before. Are there any studies that support this fantastic theory?
S Kirk And btw, you didn't say "many", you said "most". Yes, please show me links to the studies that say most gays were born bi-sexual but chose at some point to be gay.
John Wallach Homosexuality so far is considered a tendency. They have not found a "gay" gene. It is suggested by one Canadian scientist that the more male siblings a man has that are older than him...has a more likelihood of turning out more effeminate. There is a tendency...but environmental and social factors come into play. I don't want to waste my time right now to research out for you the myriad of studies. Believe me...there are.
I agree. This song is a contemporary classic. It's a shame that Christina has never performed this live ever again, for over a decade. What's wrong with her? Is she not aware this is one of her biggest hits / legacy songs? She keeps singing "Fighter" and "Beautiful" and always ignores this powerhouse ballad in her concerts.
Eurythmicc Divisionn Her range only though. Christina has 4 octaves, Gaga 2.7 octaves (which is still more than Adele who has only 2 octaves but still is portrayed as an exceptional vocalist) On the other hand, Christina's technique is terrible compared to Gaga's as Gaga was vocally trained and plays with her voice basically while Xtina strains her voice way too much and is probably gonna lose it, like Whitney and Mariah did.
Went back to this video after her interview at the Kelly Clarkson show 2019 saying this is her least fave song to sing live cuz of the long extended belting vocals at the chorus and its vocally demanding track.. 💕✨
Charmaine Bramida Great comment because nobody seems to notice what these famous singers go through around the world sometimes there’s all kinds of weather conditions in concerts Sometimes is too hard sometimes it rains and yeah it looks like it was cold over there.
Co tu komentować? Po prostu...nie jeden Bóg dał jej głos...Wszyscy bogowie się zebrali i dali jej to czym wyrywa duszę człowieka i zostawia nagą w śnieżnej zamieci. Cudo.
This is by far one of my favorite performances ever done by any performer. Christina put all her emotions into the song and you can hear her pain and grief about the message directed by the song. The lyrics are written beautifully and she is dressed conservative so her appearance won't overpower the song. This whole performance is based on her singing and nothing else(except the skater), she did a breathtaking job and I personally loved it.
Guys, since when you started to deny Christina's amazingly giant talent!?!?!?!? Come on!She is one of the best singers from our century! ;) Admit it and respect it!Gaga have no place in this comments, what the hell?!She can not even compare...
Stephanie Mayer I am a huge Madonna fan and cannot understand the fuss about a useless singer like Lady Gaga. I have never been a real fan of Christina, even though I love some of her songs and this performance is so beautiful. Art is not only about how wonderful and perfect a voice is. It is also about how you use it and the things you say. That is why I adore this song and love this performance.
andy zaima her belts at the end end of her performance at the MTV awards were off key and flat .... Her vocals here are amazing and on key because she took her time
Wow, I always see this video in my favorites but I don't think I ever watched it. This is probably one of the best.. Actually it IS the best live version of Hurt I've heard her do!!!
Seems like it was yesterday when I saw your face You told me how proud you were but I walked away If only I knew what I know today ooh,ooh I would hold you in my arms I would take the pain away Thank you for all you've done, Forgive all your mistakes There's nothing I wouln't do To hear your voice again Sometimes I want to call you but I know you won't be there ooh,ooh I'm sorry for blaming you for everything I just couldn't do And I hurt myself by hurting you Somedays I feel broke inside but I won't admit Sometimes I just want to hide 'cause it's you I miss You know it's so hard to say goodbye when it comes to this Would you tell me I was wrong? Would you help me understand? Are you looking down upon me? Are you proud of who I am? There's nothing I want to do To have just one more chance To look into your eyes and see you looking back I'm sorry for blaming you for everything I just couldn't do And I've hurt myself If I had just one more day, I would tell you how much that I've missed you since you've been away Oh, it's dangerous It's so I'm afraid to try to turn back time I'm sorry for blaming you for everything I just couldn't do And I've hurt myself By hurting you
that's what i love about her, she has got such an amazing talent that people from differemt likes in music can love her. I've developed an eclectic taste in music thanks to her, with Back 2 Basics, realesed when i was so young, she introduced me to jazz, soul and classic R&B. Today jazz is my fav music. Rock is my second fav, and let me say this girl can rock too. I'm sure u've listened her rolling stones collab! But to truly learn how far she can go, you most listen It's a Mans Mans world
