Her tessitura is higher, but I would say that this fits perfectly with her (limited) vocal technique. Bionic is perfect for her current vocals.

@@bromoboy Im speaking about vocal technique. And in that part, Christina "healthy" or "consistent" vocals are very limited. Nothing about c5 is assured, and when she is nervous (Whitney Houston tribute) she can screw up a simple A4. I mean, she has a super vocal range, but she don't want to use it the right way.

@@jorgeescudero5034 i get it buddy ,just kidding....her usable range isn't the same like other mezzos, while mezzo (as music academy lists) actually sings from A3 - A5 (2 octave, excluding fry or lower not so usable note that used for runs or whatever), her range is more consistently G3 to E5 (1 octaves and 5 notes) while she should be G5 to reach the 2 octave range, and i know she can improvise lower to B2, but those things are only improvisations or runs, she doesn't sing that low often, it's considered too low for mezzo anyway. I only wish she spend her time to reach G5, even just for a second. But above all, we love her right?, She is awesome, and her growl is only hers, nobody compares.

She leaves me speechless, her voice is breathtaking. I've NEVER EVER EVER heard a voice like hers. The sounds she produces are extremely unique and belong to her only. I also feel like her voice beautifully reflects her as a person. And I definitely think this is one of the most beautiful songs in her catalogue!

It's clear she isn't a lip sync person because it was so obvious. But this song is totally easy for her to sing, it's in such an easy range for her.

+ This is why I will forever hold Christina as one of my all time favorite Artist. Because everything else aside. THE MUSIC... THE MUSIC. Speaks for itself. And it is timeless. I recall the terrible Haiti Earthquake of 2010. And Christina performing this song live with Linda Perry at the Piano at the televised fund relief, HOPE FOR HAITI. During which the images & footage/stories of people/children whom had spent DAYS buried beneath house/building rubble & in between life death were displayed for our horror on television. And the lyrics of this song being sung as first responders dug out bodies alive & dead is something I will never forget as this song took on a different meaning for me, and I suspect for anyone whom witnessed Christina's performance that night. And this brings me to 2020 as this same song takes yet again a similar meaning as we are amid this fucking pandemic that doesn't seem to let up.

1.53 she is not singing yet you can hear some ooh. It is playback guys, this isnt live. She has rerecorded this song in the studio, it is not the same studio version on Bionic but she is miming here.

Yes all the « COVID » perf are lipped. They record live vocals and lip over them. Otherwise they’d have sound problem with the filming

I can’t with this. She is so inspirational. I can’t help but to sing along with her every time. The words to the song is one thing, but how she sings is exactly what gets me started. Hopefully I can sing like her one day.
