I have ms too. It sucks and there’s no break. Thanks for having Christina on. If you don’t talk about Christina’s SINGULAR PERFORMANCE in Van Down by the River , I’ll scream . A fantasy of mine since childhood was what I would wear and how I would enter as a late night guest. Everybody would notice my dress!! After MS, I didn’t think I could even imagine it anymore. Buy when Christina walked onto Kimmel with a cane and chucks, I started crying. I have to wear Chucks or go barefoot bc I can’t take any more blocking my nerves on my feet. I sit cross legged too, or did, you gotta work on core strength a little, or you’ll shrink into a ball. I love the MeSsy podcast. I could listen to Christina and Jamie all DAY. It’s like therapy. This episode has hit home for me also. I have Patellar Femoral knee pain. Nothing like MS, but its the same as what she said. At night your in your dreams and wake up afraid to put your foot on the ground. You just want to stay in bed all day. Almost 50, had to give up hobbies, but I'm watching more Fly on the Wall!! You guys have helped me through this keep doing this and Superfly!!! Love you!

I can heavily relate to some of the darker topics briefly touched on here in my own way, with chronic pain and mental health conditions. Always enjoy all three of you. Just saw the Partridge Family Brady Bunch SNL again, classic, so funny. My advice to Christina is to avoid inflammation. I’m nearly 62 and have had MS since I was 29 but it kinda of went away after the first few years for the most part but inflammation will bring about a few tingles in my toes or face. I’ve used steroids a few times early on but otherwise no medication. Like she said everyone is different. I hope you get over it soon. It might a year to feel better just don’t lose hope.

My favorite SNL sketch of hers was "Tech Talk: iPhone 5" from 2012. It was extremely well written and she was supported by six legendary cast members.

I think the break in the sketch worked for that particular scene. Because the kids were getting a lecture from a motivational speaker it only makes sense that teenagers would snicker and laugh throughout anyway. I feel that it made it more realistic because they were truly laughing at the situation. Best break ever

Clay walker was diagnosed years ago and he is still out there doing concerts. It just depends, like Christina said. Everyone is different. Every disease affects people in different ways.

I've had crohn's for 35 years, and OMG the bit about mushrooms hits home so hard... the number of "have you tried"/"why don't you just"/"my friend had that and..." etc Ive heard over the years can't be calculated. I don't know who needs to hear this, but don't do that people.

This sucks that Christina Applegate is stricken with this disease, I really hope science can figure out a cure soon. They are making great strides with the CRISPER technology. I'm glad she explained that medical science hasn't yet figured out the cause because I would be one of those dopes asking the same tired question.

Love Christina but she still has a bit more to learn about MS ;-) yes, things are better now with managing MS due to the available DMTs and better understanding...but in the past while some might have a very quick progression it wasn't that common for people within a year to be paraplegic and die. Kinda same as now- we are all so different. I am 18 years in- so maybe if she wants to learn more she can touch base and some of us "old timers" can be on her pod cast. We've been enjoying being MeSsy

That’s funny because I remember going to the mall to see that movie and the place was packed . I went to see some stupid Clint Eastwood boot camp movie or something but we couldn’t get past the lames checkin tickets and we had to sit on the floor at one of the Ernest movies . Christina is one of those humans I have always seen beyond the eyes. She’s got that energy. She’s never threatening as a woman. There’s something intrinsic about her that’s powerful. I love seeing and hearing her. She’s been a real force in my own healing journey.

I lover her but a 52 year old that says stuff like super resent-y and talky talky to describe Wonder Years, drives me nuts! But she's actually so smart, funny and charismatic, and what she is going through now, she gets a pass. A vegan at 14, no that's not healthy to me. Also didn't know the Pussycat Dolls started with her. I remember she performed as one of them. It seems like she's almost the Queen of cult comedies that should.have made alot of money out of the gate but never did and still became classics. I mean Don't Tell Mom, The Rocker, Anchorman, Hall Pass, Mafia! Just kidding about that last one. all new beloved comedy classics, with normal people who enjoy funny things as opposed to idiots who are are offended by everything that are trying to ruin our lives! So God Bless Her! I remember Up All Night and it actually was one of tha last good Sitcoms. Her character actually spoofed Kelly Bundy's hairstyle on one episode i remember. Also the retro references with her lying around listening to New Order in one scene. As an 80s/90s kid that spoke to me. Jesse wasnt bad either where she was a single Mom.

I'm not meaning to be a butt, but you guys, and Christina Applegate included, keep saying "that's really funny" as a comment to what each other are saying and then you don't actually laugh... as a woke millennial, I find this hypocrisy eerie. I'd rather you talk about your chronic conditions and how you cope because all this escapism isn't as helpful as just digging into the truth. As someone chronically injured, I'm literally hanging onto what you're not saying in between the lines at this point. Why not just address it? You might get more than 24k views, some new subscribers, and help heal the world.
