Chris is an incredible artist. James, your laughtrack didn't help this sincere and interesting interview. You might consider dropping it or using a different one.
Why is her performance of " People, I've Been Sad" at the Paris Museum of Fine Arts no longer available to view? It was such a beautiful and haunting video.
@@peachturnover101 That's a different video (love the color scheme). This one was posted on Nov 6, 2020 and has now been made private. You can see a screenshot of it on consequenceofsound.net/2020/11/christine-and-the-queen-people-ive-been-sad-on-corden/ where Ben Kaye posted a story about it, along with link to the video, which has now been made private. I hope it can be released again, as it is truly a beautiful video.
I remember watching and listening to her shortly after Trevor too over the Daily Show. This was the biggest entertaining flash I have had until this day.
I think Americans respect stage names way more than french people (I've only watched her in those two countries) If anything sounds like a stage name in France, they're going to ask you your real name and go "can I call you that then ?" but in America, every rapper and artist with a stage name, always gets called by their stage name, no questions asked. I think it looks more professional as well. French TV isn't that professional I guess is what I'm saying haha !
Hum, time zones ? It's 1pm here 😅 Lol let me guess, you are American ? Americans always have a hard time understanding they are not alone in the world, I've only seen americans having a hard time with the timezones with comments like "why is he dropping his new single in the middle of the night it doesn't make sense?!" Talking about a British artist...Hum because the world doesn't revolve around you and it's the middle of the day somewhere ? You guys...
@@danslesbrasdemorphee4181 You would make what could be a question from a 10 year old for all we know...into a way to say something negative and lump all Americans together...you must be living a sad, boring life if you take every chance you get to turn something negative...oh, look at all the assumptions I made about you, a person I know nothing about!! Doesn't that feel great?!
@@kaylas717 nope, I'm fine thanks :) And I stand with what I said, it's something I (and many others) have noticed and I think it's important to educate people making this mistake. Also hum...are you implying that a 10 year old isn't supposed to know there are other countries in the world ?! 😅 Anyway, have a great day ;)
The bit at 2:17 is a classic example of how bad James Corden is as an interviewer. When Christine danced, somebody like David Letterman, Stephen Colbert, Conan O'Brian or even Jonathan Ross would've build on it. Received what Christine was giving them and went on a tangent. But James here stuck to his script that he probably had memorized earlier.
For those who watch this show regularly what was the name of the musician who shaved her hair off a little while ago, she performed a really good song but I caught as I was half sleep.
They are speaking English but having said that all you have to do is click the CC on the bottom of the video. YT closed captioning isn't perfect but it's better than nothing.
@@alexhunter5783 I’m sorry, my comment was intended for her song when it was posted/combined with the interview. Most of it was sung in French and there were none available when the telecast was viewed. Now when I click on the separate song file the captions are opened but the French parts are not translated, they are open captions in French. Also, “closed” captions aren’t visible so you shouldn’t use the term when captions are opened/visible. Just say/write captions.
@@bjs2022 Feel free to check out the lyrics online on researching "People i ve been sad lyrics genius " on genius they have roughly translated so you can get the meaning of the French phases.
May I remind you sir that you have already done something illegal by not actually driving the car carpool karaoke. So what's the big deal about kidnapping five boys and forcing them to be in a band with each other again? You've already broken the law once sow hat's the big deal?
