I feel like the biggest difference between the book and the movie is that the moving has a much more tragic feel to it for Christine. In the book, Christine felt demonic and unfeeling, as if it existed to be evil. In the movie, Christine felt much more empathetic, and I believed that Christine really loved and cared for Arnie.
I feel like a couple people don't know Christine so well copyrighted and tell you how much more than just one that I always can count on next to me with me always will be and no Annie wtf is that he couldn't compare
I will tell you something males love their cars their machinery it never gets old you simply get a new vehicle their is probably something wrong with me for expressing these thoughts when I get a new to me vehicle I can spend time looking at it as admiring the curves of it's metal form maybe I'm just some weirdo but perhaps not
@@elaineewalt8137 I didn't mean women don't love their cars my mother was pregnant with me when she had a brand new 1969 Plymouth Roadrunner 383 4 speed sure grip differential no wonder why I love the smell of leaded gas and like manual transmissions a lot of women love their powerful engines ànd are proud of their cars and drive aggressively I enjoy that
***** looking at other girls is not that bad though. Trying something with them is the problem. Most girls don't mind just looking, atleast as i heard from friends. When you try something, you're dead.
When this Movie was made they wrecked half a dozen of them cars In This movie what a waste and the 58 fury is a beautiful looking car And all those popular 50 songs in this movie
@@philstall6262Actually, these aren’t actual Furys. Instead, these were Belvederes & Savoys. Yes indeed, it sucks to see these classic cars were destroyed for the movies and probably hard to find a decent parts, shells, or a good condition cars (even they only had a surface rust at least).
Would love to see a prequel set in the 50's. I would imagine it being how this car took a family down a dark path. It's also great how such upbeat music is used as part of the character. The old movie that does it as well is goodfellas!
Christine is not just a car she is actually a beautiful white woman, tall, nice body, long red hair, red finger nail polish, and red toe nail polish, and red lipstick, and a lovely red dress and red open toe wedged heels😍 IF YOU KNOW YOU KNOW
Back in the days when they had real movies. I love the beginning of the Stephen King movie where Christine stops in the road cause Cujo is chasing the cat and the bumper sticker says I am Christine I break for evil. All of the cars sacrificed in the creation of this movie will live on forever in this movie. If the Checker Cab Factory could make a 1950s car all the way up to the eighties and still look like a 1950s car why can't they do that today? Because today's cars are as tasteless as the movies as is the music. The 80s were great .
These cars back 1957 where actually high performance machines. The horse power was starting to increase. You could get a high performance 413 cross ram with dual four barrel carburetors . The engine was a work of art. The carburetors set close to the fenders on each side of the car. They even made a 392 hemi engine. They led the forefront of high performances engines back then. Check out the Chrysler 300 cars back in its day. It's hard to believe that they put a square type steering wheel on some These cars. It look strange too with the push button gear shift selector on the dash. Talking about innovation they did it.
Well... I'm a lady. One that hunts down cars.... One that protects the body and the engines... I am worthy of love... And thankfully I found it. ;) #BuickLady
My older brother had a triple black SE 383cu 4bbl 1969 charger that looked like the blue charger in the movie. Love those cars. He bought the charger in the mid 1970s. Imagine what that car would be worth now.
One of my favorite movies. I bring it out every so often to watch it. Have had it on VHS for years. Funny thing, the last few times I've watched it, I couldn't see the very end, like when I heard the certain music start and saw Dennis with that machine, I didn't watch this either. Haha! Thanks so much for sharing this.
Me and my Buddy work on his Dad 38 Chrysler 48 Plymouth . I tell you one was haunted the 48 will roll back with Emergency brake on .Would go the next morning knowing I lock all the doors and every door would be wide opened . Just a eerie feeling coming from it .
i love you Christine e your the best car ever made people say you are evil but i don't you do it to protect the person you love and you got good taste in music
LOS NOMBRES DE LAS CANCIONES Bad to the bone Larry Williams - Bony maronie Dion and the Belmonts - I wonder why Thurston Harris - Little Bitty Pretty One Buddy Holly - Not fade away Johnny Ace - Pledging my love Danny and the Juniors - Rock and Roll is here to stay Robert and Johnny - We belong together espero que les alla servido
As with the dukes of Hazard though less as the charger was still popular, the 58 fury wasn't overly popular until after it's use in this film at which point it was already rare as no one had overly taken care of them, they became even more so after destruction and the rush of those wanting to own a Christine of their own.
@@scorpiusbalthazar4327 could happen but for various reasons, like electrical, ignition or fuel delivery. Parts are very difficult to find but overall it is a reliable car for me. Starts every time, drives relatively well and hasn't left me on the side of the road (yet).
Regardless of the reliability these cars of that era were just beautiful. Look at the lines and the fins. The chrome all that chrome!! Worth being a pain when they are that beautiful in my opinion.
@@leobacelli3459 I know how it feels actually. I feel the same way as Arnie did . My car means the world to me . This is a long story, my car’s an old soul . Things have souls as humans do . Perhaps you never felt that way , how miserable you must feel … i had the chance to get my Christine one year ago ❤️
the song at 9:31 has much more meaning then people realize "rock and roll is here to stay" it means that Christine will stay forever and will never leave no matter what.
Love the part when he talks to the car when it won't start. Think we've all had those moments. One more time, and I promise I'll buy that new starter. 😂
@otacus85 nope , tanya tucker, as the movie goes from 1958 to 1978 so does the song, it starts off with buddy holly singing not fade away then we hear tanya tuckers version
