...and (As we all know!), Christine wasn't done yet! She killed 4 People that night, starting out with Moochie, then killing off Buddy Repperton's friends...and finally running over Buddy. No one ever accused Buddy of being any too smart...and we can see why!

You have to appreciate that all the stunts were real, filming locations were real. There was no CGI in this movie, nothing shot on a fake set, no miniature models, the death scenes were not over the top

I showed this scene to my five year old nephew. Is that wrong? A few weeks later, he wanted to see "the car on fire" (his description). Not the Lego version either. I'm gonna be in trouble with his parents for showing him that.

There is a behind the scenes documents on the entire set up both the gas station explosion and the car. Pity the original theatrical release they never show the guy on the road, that shot is cut short.

Blumhouse is remaking it, the script is already done. That's the studio that made the Conjuring, Paranormal Activity, Insidious, Five Nights at Freddie's, and the Purge, amongst other things. Their track record is all over the place.

@@braino64 I haven't seen the five nights at Freddie's movie, all I've heard is it's very good if you're a fan of the franchise, but mixed if you're going in relatively blind. All Blumhouse has said about the new Christine script is that "It's horny as hell".

You should watch the film it’s bad ass. The same scene transitions into the Furry parking itself in the garage all smoked out. The owner of the garage opens the hot door and sees there is no one inside. Arnie comes to the garage the next day in shock when the police want to interview him. It’s cool because the Plymouth is brand new again as if nothing happened.

Agreed. It’s only a step above pan and scanning. Doesn’t kill the experience but it destroys most of the composition, you need the extra wide space the 2.35:1 ratio offers.

I finally watched the deleted scenes..was always curious on why the Chevy that Vandenberg was working was lowered before the explosion. Apparently in the deleted scene he crawls underneath the car and is crushed by it as it lowers causing him to yell out in pain.

Location swap. The book was originally set in PA and Arnie and his friend ( the narrator) were working on 376 for summer work. Arnie discovered Christine had a backwards running odometer and as it ran backwards the car got younger. Also in the book Roland Lebay was trying to posses Arnie through the car. Christine fought her final battle and as she was loosing Lebay tried to take full possession of Arnie ( who was up with his mother visiting state collage to go to penn state in the fall) Arnie opted to crash the car and end his life before Lebay could take him
