Hi, Gayle. In your water bottle put one drop of dish soap when putting water on your ink pad. It will stop your pad from getting moldy.

Oh my goodness! I have a ton of original Shirley Temple photographs, post cards and news paper clippings !! I bought a very old photo album at goodwill for the pages which were empty ( the card stock) after about 6 months I grabbed it to use the pages and from the back out fell all of these original Shirley Temple photos, taken my mgm ! Movie scenes , post cards, dozens !! And a whole bunch of old newspaper articles!! Crazy ! Some day I would love to do a JJ with the scanned copy’s I have had them checked and the photos are worth too much money to put in a journal and some are 81/2 x 11 !! It was the craziest thing ever !! I was speechless! And not even knowing I had them was even more crazy 🙃

I never would have thought to make a page template. Never made an altered book so this is fun for me.

This is going to be awesome, just like all your altered books. I love the red endpapers. I had to smile when I saw the name of the author of this book. Jack Gantos wrote a series of kids’ picture books about an ornery cat named Rotten Ralph, as well as junior novels about Joey Pigza, a boy with ADHD. My students really liked those. I think this is also a children’s book, so hopefully no bad words!

You mentioned that cherubs remind you of New Years. Growing up I loved the old Rankin and Bass holidays cartoons and Baby New Years was a cute little cherub so I always think of that when I see a cherub as well.

I loved it & ordered the same book. It was couple+ years ago.I looked back in my saved videos. It was February 2021 book was Mary Midthome. I kept mine ❤️

Howdy Gayle! I love how fast this one is coming along. I too like to see the words underneath the papers. I have always added alcohol to keep my ink pads going. I did not know you could use water to do the same thing. I also always stack them upside down which helps the ink come to the surface of the pad.
