An excellent meet up. I couldn’t stop laughing at stews face at the beginning, he was just dreaming about gold lol. Lovely castle, perfect place for a lark. Love the Christmas bowl bowl, the anchor sherd was my favourite (obviously). Can’t believe it’s nearly Christmas already! Where has the time gone lol. I’m making pipe stem Christmas cards, I’m too basic 🤣🤣
The railways never paid for the stone from the great hall , it was a bridging loan , but when it comes to castle buildings they always play for keeps😲🍻
I regularly watch Northern Mudlarks and I like watching their shop work. Their skills have grown tremendously over the last couple of years. I cast my own steam engine cylinders so the casting is of particular interest.
Great video, Si. Nice to have those two lovely ladies(whom I follow) and the bloke, out with you today. Lovely views along the way. Interesting history. And very consuming watching you make Christie ornaments. Loved the orb! The star one looked very gothic. When people ask you what you do for a living, what do you say? Hooroo from Down-under🦘
Loved seeing this video and the collaboration with the Northern Mudlark ladies! Thnx for taking us along and sharing all your terrific finds. Really liked the ornaments as well.
Congrats to the winners. For those who don't know Gail and Alex also make beautiful jewerly, and other things as well.It would be interesting to see what they could make with Wendy.
It was great seeing you with Gail and Alex! I love ornaments! You did a great job on all 3. I think the star is my favorite! I just bought a locket charm with a garnet for me and garnet earrings for my friend for Christmas! I love garnets and always wanted one that you found on the shore! A piece of history! Thank you!
I really enjoyed seeing you with the Northern Mudlarks. I loved the copper/brass nails with the marble. Looks lovely. What a great idea. Love watching your shows. thanks Si.

Hi Si, Loved this vid. Great to see the NM ladies along, and I like the integration of your creations and the making of. The “stars” are cool, and can be used year round.✨ See you soon! 🇺🇸🌎🇺🇸
Oh my!! I am so thrilled to win the earrings, those garnets tell such a story and I always enjoy seeing you find them. Can hardly wait to wear a Si & Wendy piece of beautiful history. Thank you for the opportunity, this really made my year! ❤❤
Great mudlarking especially with my other favorite mudlarkers, Alex and Gail. Your Christmas ornaments came out fantastic. I think you should also start a crafting video alone on these creative projects you do. Thanks for another good mudlarking adventure.
Lovely ornaments Si, I especially like the marble 🌟 it really came out nice. Love that you have the creativity to make beautiful things from your finds.
In order to have the best chance of finding remnant artifacts from use of those old iron cannon, it would probably be a good idea to determine what their minimum, average and maximum ranges were and concentrate your searches accordingly.
Smashing Si, my favorite bit was the little shard of the owl in your Christmas ball, and the fishermen, love your crafty ways Si, till next time. 🇨🇦🍁🐘👣🤗🧡
The Northern Mudlarks were the first mudlark channel I subscribed to. They suggested many channels, and I trusted their suggestions. Now I have more larking channels than all others. Love to all. Greetings from North Carolina U.S.A.
Si I love your Xmas bauble made with shards of your unique finds. So lovely. 🌟🙋♀️🤗 And how clever is your pipe stem Xmas star. 🌟Just when I can't think it can get any better your marble (marvel) creation is great Si.
It's always so nice to see you collabing with other mudlarkers. I loved the Christmas ornaments you made. Wonder if you could do a nativity scene with all your odd bits and pieces. Great video thank you. Enjoy your prizes competition winners xx
Great to see you larking with Alex and Gail. Your Christmas ornaments look fabulous. So creative. Can't wait to see what you do with the copper nail next week! ❤🇦🇺
HI SI!! I'M WATCHING FROM SCARBOROUGH, ONTARIO CANADA. THANKS FOR SHARING. I LIKE THE CHRISTMAS ORNAMENTS YOU MADE. VERY CLEVER. I DIDN'T THINK THAT NAILS COULD LOOK SO LOVELY AS A STAR FOR THE TREE. I LOVE THE DECOUPAGE WITH THE POTTERY SHARDS INTO A BALL.THE PIPE STEMS FOR MYSELF I WOULD PAINT THEM EACH WITH DECORATIONS LIKE BEADING, BUT YOURS SEES THE NATURAL CLAY THE'RE MADE FROM. BEAUTIFUL. THANKS FOR SHARING AND STAY SAFE AND HEALTHY. ❤🙏
That was fun - but very surprising you found so little - wonder where it's all gone?!! Some cute ideas for rustic decorations from mucky finds - have a great week!
Wonderful! My two favourite treasure hunting channels together!💖 Love the historic Christmas decos. The copper star is my favorite but I love them all!😍
Excellent video simon, great to see you with the northern mud larks , lovely lady's. Definitely got to be a cannonball around the castle grounds somewhere. Love the Christmas projects you did too
Too bad there was nothing castle related found. But, as always, your cleverness with foreshore "trash" is amazing. Love how you accented the pottery ball with brown and green to keep it from being boring. That made everything pop.
Your Xmas crafting is superb Simon! Lovely to see Alex&Gail practising metal detectoring. Wee beautiful Berwick, on my list to visit one day. Congratulations to happy winners!
Awesome! Been waiting for this video :) Loved how you all found some coins and treasures and the Christmas crafts were cool! I got a Thames garnet anchor with one of your found garnets from Wendy last Christmas and it is absolutely stunning ...
I love love love your impromptu Christmas craft time! ❤️❤️❤️I love the Northern Mudlarks! ❤️❤️Gail and Alex are the first mudlarkers I watched. I found you through them! And Nicola and so many others that I find so much joy watching!! I live in S Florida in the US. I’d love to mudlark but Im not sure there is many cool things to find! 🥺 I wish!
Thanks Simon! Love the collaborations in the community. Any video with the Lovely Ladies Gail and Alex is Always Welcome. Enjoyed your Art Interludes, along with your unique, one of a kind Art pieces for the holidays and or year round decor. I'm partial to the copper nails and marble beauty, as both items are among my favorites of the Thames finds. : )
Those wheels may have come off a long disintegrated wooden cart or wheel barrow. The Christmas ball, the star, and the pipe stem came out fantastic. I loved them.
