About 30 years ago, I started a new family tradition thats lasted all these years! I didn't want all the women stuck in the kitchen cooking, so I suggested we all bring finger foods and play games for small inexpensive prizes. It's been so much fun and lots of silliness and memories have BEEN had and continue to be had!!

@delphine88313 I don't think its that they have a hard time realizing it. People are just curious by nature . I totally respect Becky's decision to keep her child off yourtube. On the other hand you can't talk about your pregnancy, show baby prep, talk about your delivery and post pardon and then not expect people to have questions about the baby. I think that's the part that's hard to realize.

Your dinner roll recipe actually makes amazing cinnamon rolls, so thank you again for that one Becky! It’s multi purpose for sure. I just tried it for the first time last week. After the first rise I just roll the dough into a rectangle, spread soft butter all over it, then the cinnamon sugar mix…then roll it up, slice into 12 and let rise again. Then bake in glass baking dish, same temp. Whip up a quick frosting of your choice and tada, yummy cinnamon rolls!

Something you and your Mom may find helpful is when I've finished with Party ware and washed them up, I wrap them in plastic wrap so that I do not have to re-wash them when I need them next... 😀

We have made cheesecake for 50+ years. My sister made for a high school HomeEc project. We use 4 eggs and a Tablespoon of Vanilla in the mix. It is really easy cake to make

I love my blackstone. We bought our blackstone and a Traeger the same day and loving them both. We always have a traditional Thanksgiving meal but whatever everyone wants for Christmas and this year we are smoking two 16# briskets, ribs, homemade potato salad, homemade baked beans, strawberry cake and an Oreo cake and then whatever else is brought here by family members

I got a 22” blackstone…..absolutely love it. I’m in Texas so I have a long period to use it. It’s only my husband and myself most of the time but I could do burgers for my family of 13 if needed. Have also done fajitas on it..perfect❤️

Finger foods on Christmas is so fun!! Our big traditional dinner is just for thanksgiving and we do something new and fun for Christmas each year. Different themes or cuisines. It’s fun to change it and a do what excites you every year!

Hi Becky, according to several universities researches, the bumps or lack thereof of bell peppers are primarily related to the variety and growing conditions. It doesn’t determine the sweetness. The more ripened the fruit is, the sweeter it will be. So, bell peppers that are allowed to ripen past being green and mature to yellow, orange or red will be sweeter. And no (😂), there’s no such thing as a male or female pepper… I hope you enjoy passing on these little bits of info… Nature is so fascinating, don’t you think?? 🧐 ❤

We have spent Christmas Eve at my maternal grandparents. At some point we started to have pizza and wings. Both of my grandparents have passed, so my sister and I did a dessert and appetizer to start something new.

Egg shells are good for the GARDEN too! Crush them into a powder and mix w/soil.

Yup! I do this every year. You can also use the crushed shells as a natural bug repellent. It scratches up their exoskeleton and they leave. It doesn't do anything for grasshoppers though.

We do snack foods for our immediate family for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Became a tradition around 10 years ago. After 2 big meals everyone was tired of turkey and fixings so we tried snack foods and it was a hit! Love watching you and your mom together preparing food❤ I have a Blackstone grill that my daughter and son-in-law gifted me. Haven't used it yet but I've been watching videos and am excited to use it come next spring!

After both parents were gone and kids grown we switched to grilled steaks and shrimp with loaded baked potatoes and grilled squash. I slice and freeze bags of zucchini and yellow squash during the summer harvest. We season the squash with salt, pepper and Kinders Buttery Steakhouse seasoning and oh my they are so yummy.

I ordered some of those same plastic canisters after watching one of your other videos. They are the best. I actually went back and ordered a second set in all different sizes. I love how the lid snaps closed.
