Hi everyone ! Welcome or welcome back for this new video about Christmas decor, today we are starting to decorate the living-room focusing on the mantle where I'm trying 3 very easy different ways to hang my garlands.

I like the 3rd look. I do think making it asymmetrical and fall or drape casually would be better rather than straight along the mantle. Gives it that whimsy look

It looks like everyone is liking the third option. It is beautiful but I really love the second one. I love how full it looks!! I also have that Walmart garland, it’s a favorite. Great job!!

Thank you ♥️ This garland really is amazing !! With the 2nd look I love how it’s covering the front of the fireplace since I have a large white space between the top board and the frame around the firebox, it dresses it up a little and give more character to it 🙈

I loved them all and how you incorporated different types of greenery in them. I was really drawn to #2, loving how you draped it down and then added the other garland for lots of fullness. Then you did #3, I love that one too. But as I write this, I still go with # 2. Thank you for all of these ideas!

So beautiful, I will choose look #2 it is so full. The 3rd one has been done for a couple of years now. But you might want to get a string of twinkle lights on a timer and wrap around the wood logs for some extra sparkle. Anyway you choose it will be beautiful.

You do a lovely job of decorating, Aurore. All are beautiful. My personal choice would be to pick any one of the 3 garlands and not to double up on it, but again, all choices are great and it simply depends on individual taste. I loved the appearance by your cat! I have a big black long haired one like yours, along with one that looks like a black panther, and then I have a calico exotic cat that is 3/4 Persian. Our pets enhance our lives and are part of the decor. Lol! Blessings!

I like the asymmetrical look of the third option because it balances out the stockings on the left and also gives weight to the space to the right of the fireplace.

They are all beautiful and I’m so sad that I didn’t pick that Walmart garland up. I grabbed 2 of the My Texas Home with the white berries but I’m kinda regretting it! I love all the looks but my fave was number 2 I think everyone is doing the side swoop so seeing the mantle with just garland on top, I really like the look!! I think that’s what I’m going to do with mine!! Thanks for sharing! Love your minimal decor!! ❤❤

Hi aurora. I just started watching your channel. You have such beautiful diys and decorating ideas. I actually binged all of your videos. They are awesome! I see you are fairly new and if I can make a suggestion… I noticed that your videos stop and pause then start playing again throughout each video which makes it tough to watch. Don’t know if it’s your camera or your internet but maybe you can look into it and try to fix it. Besides that I really enjoy your videos. I’m sure with your talent your channel will be growing very quickly! I definitely subscribed ❤. I hope you don’t think this is criticism just didn’t know if you noticed this happening since it does it in more than one video. I can’t wait to continue seeing your channel grow! Happy holidays.

At 67, I’m updating my home with a more neutral pallet. Just found you & another young lady, Hernandez ?. Anyway….so far impressed with you both & subscribed to you both. I crochet, so instead of buying the Pottery Barn cable pillow, stockings, & throw I like in cream, I found another young lady, MJ, who does a phenomenal job sharing her designs. I’m creating & adding them to my decor. Ordered a number of pillow covers to update my home from PB. They came yesterday & they are stunning. Definitely, worth the investment. Going to add your wreath idea to my beautiful mirror I’ve had for years. Everything you shared was beautiful.

This was very beautiful..I really like the two garlands together,so much fullness. What hooks are to using that are attached to your mantel?..I’m assuming they are safe to use and come off easily..I need something like that this year. I bought the Walmart garland to add to one that I previously bought a Joan fabrics a couple of years ago. Thank you. And thanks for sharing your beautiful decor.

Thank you ♥️ I am using some hooks from the brand Command, I didn’t show them in this video but if you want if my previous video I show the package on video They seem to hold really good, but I don’t know how it’s gonna be when I’ll take them off yet hahaha it’s supposed to not damage the surface but I can’t tell yet 🙈❤

So first I used some floral wire to fix the wreath to the back of the mirror (there is a little hook there) and then once it was in place I used another piece of wire to hang the bells on the wreath

Beautiful! My favorite is #2 I love the fuller look. Can you please share the type of hooks you used for the stockings and also for the garlands? Are they easy to apply & remove? I always worry about the finish coming off the mantle when you remove them. I looked at your description box, but didn’t see your hooks listed. Command strips have so many types of hooks, it’s overwhelming. Thank you.

Thank you 🥰 I’m gonna look for a link for the hooks on the internet and put it in the description box for you ! I can’t tell unfortunately if they’ll damage the mantle cause this is the first time for me putting hooks here so I hope it won’t be a problem when I’ll take them off 🙈 But at least I can tell you that they hold pretty good, I really followed the instruction and all the waiting time they were suggesting (to press the tape for 30 seconds when you put it and then to wait for one hour or more before hanging anything on it) ♥️

@@AtHomeWithAurore you speak very well. I meant that they are not straight. They might need to be adjusted so that the tops of your lenses are at the same level. I'm not trying to be critical. I would want someone to let me know, if my glasses were not straight.
