I LOVE love this time spent with you and Alice! She is such a genteel person with a warm sense of humor, so welcoming, I feel I am right there, come to visit, have tea, and . maybe sleep over in one of her darling, cozy, guest rooms... Alice 's home in general, is gorgeous, ofcourse...all her furnishings and antiques! Just so many beautiful woods and interesting objects everywhere! But so warm and comfortable too...I love the floor cloth out on the porch, I love that she is a "Red" person! I have always decorated with red, red red! But in a small Apt, it just got to be too much, after 50 yrs! 😂 I am 72 and have been decor my homes, apts and houses, since my first at 19! I have been through mid-century, naturally, since I AM a mid-century person 😄, country, cottage, and what I call Target modern, and have had to "undo" alot of red everywhere, trying to "minimalize" my spaces...Alice's home though is so spacious the "reds" she uses throughout just adds that touch of warmth and "hominess" one would want...As she says, "just a touch of red" here and there is perfect! Anne I learn so much from you and your friends, so many interesting historical ideas and facts, a different way of looking at your home, and yourself really, your attitude towards "things", how you want your home to feel, how YOU feel in it...these videos, as well as being informative, are so charming and welcoming...Thank you Anne, AND Alice, for sharing your homes AND hearts as always...I wish for you and yours beautiful, blessed and Merry Christmas (es)... Love, Leeta 🎄❄️☺️🎅
I love Alices porch even more at Christmas time. The reindeer is beautiful and I think that's the perfect spot for it. I would have kept it too.😊 Love the simpleness of the tree with just the lights. I enjoyed this tour very much. Thank you ladies!🎅🎄

You guys are never boring we will watch because we love to see all the stuff but we love you all too! Wow i just cant say enough about Alice's home its gorgeous! Not only at Christmas, but all of it from the antiques, primitives to the paint colors and lay out of the house! This is always a treat, Alice's home is so gorgeous! My dad is a professional house painter and i told him if i were to move agian or build this is how i want my walls and wood work to be painted! Love it! Thank You so much Anne and Alice! Merry Christmas! ❤💚
My husband is a professional house painter for over 35 years! He always hates when people use just white on their walls. So boring! I too love listening to Alice talk about everything! She is so knowledgeable about antiques and primitives!
My favorite Christmas tour so far. I am so inspired by the fresh greens and cranberries! Alice has lovingly decorated her home with beautiful ideas and lovely collections. Just wonderful! 🎄🥰
What a joy! I love the cantered cupboard in the children's room. Also, I spyed at least 3 table chairs, lucky Alice!! Beautiful as always. Merry Christmas!
Que belleza de casa... No. me imagino cuánto tiempo y trabajo para decorar todo la casa.. Pero queda tan hermosa que Alice ha de disfrutar cada temporada que la adorna gracias por compartir
As usual, a trip to Alice's home is an absolute delight! Her home is full of wonderful antiques and yet looks like a home people can be so comfortable living in. Many thanks to you both for this great video! I hope you both have a very Merry Christmas!!!
Alice, you’ve out done yourself. Your house is so amazing on its own and then you add touches of greenery and Christmas around and it’s just magical! Thank you Anne for doing these home tours. Merry Christmas 🎄
I love her home! I would love to hear about all her furnishings and portraits. I probably need to go back and see if I can find other videos. Thank you for this wonderful video!!
You can't beat greens with cranberries for Christmas. I have the angel topper that's in the dining room. I had to purchase one since my mother used to have one when I was a child. Sadly she must have gotten rid of it. I look forward to Alice's home every year decorated for Christmas.
Alice your home looks beautiful so festive and welcoming . I love the horse on your table . Thank you for sharing . Thank you Ann for taking us there .
I decorated with more greens this year too...but, I still go all out at Christmas...minimalist at Christmas? Never heard of it Lol! I always love touring this home and her decorating is always marvelous...I love how she mixes antiques with vintage and still makes it work. She is a genius with vignettes and little displays...I love the concept of decorating your decorations. Such an inspiring lady with lots of ideas to share...Thank You!
Wow the floor cloth is just wonderful. What a great idea for decorating a feather tree with beads wrapped around the trunk. Merry Christmas to all of you. Alice never disappoints and for those of us who have so much enjoyment in owning these treasured pieces, she really does show how Christmas can be added to what you already have.
Alice your home is simply Perfectly Done! Just the right touch that says you enjoy the season, love it all! Thank you both for this tour! Wishing you a wonderful Christmas with your loved ones!
Thanks Anne and Alice, for sharing this lovely home that is beautifully decorated no matter what the season. Alice, which paint company offers the English Bartlett color used on your bedroom fireplace mantle? Also, where did you get your front door? It's wonderful! I love it and want one!
I think English Bartlett is a California paint but I had Benjamin Moore mix it for me..I'll havevto check on the front door - it's a panel door and I think many companies sell it - the issue was that I wanted it to open out, not in so there were adjustments for that.
I loved this! Your home was magnificent! I found it inspiring! A question, would you be ok if I did some paintings from it? I love primitives and country things.
I think it gets more beautiful every year. I'm curious, and I may have missed this. Is Alice's home a historic home that she has renovated or is it new construction she meticulously made look old? Thank you and Merry Christmas!
I just leave mine in an open container and mix them up from time to time - they take quite a while to dry- you may be able to dry them at a low temperature in the stove. I would also do a Google search and see what you can find!!!
