I have a Christmas ornament my paternal grandmother bought me when I was 10 , I still bring it out every year at Christmas and I am now 73 . I thank my Nana every time.🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿💂‍♀️🇬🇧

It was so cold out, my camera kept turning off on me. 🙃 I also forgot to mention, but I decorated carefully - items that can withstand the freezing temps and snow. 🤣 Stay warm!

I love how the porch turned out and I love the deer. I would absolutely go buy the doe to complete the set. Every baby (even the fawn) needs a mother.

Love the word "Joy" for the Christmas season as well. When my friend Joy passed away 4 years ago, her grandkids made Christmas ornaments for each person with her name stamped on it. I love having it front and center on my tree every year!

I really love the idea of birch logs in that planter with the picks! That would look so cute with my rustic cabin vibe I am doing. ❄️ I have heard that 3M Command hooks sometimes need 24 hours to attach to the surface with nothing on and then they will be strong enough to hold items. ❄️ So cute and cozy how the front porch looks!

Your porch looks so pretty Crystal! Love that you added lights to the garland and the small trees. Also, I am loving the pops of red and I especially love your deer. You know better than me but I think if you could add the other deer it would be great. I am crazy over deer but of course you can look outside and see deer anytime. You should get the doe to complete the family. The esthetic is better in groups of odd numbers. Perhaps get some large, white cup hooks to hang your garland. You’ve already hung it this year but when you take it down you can replace the nails with the large cup hooks and be ready for next year. Everything looks beautiful! 🎄💝

Just lovely!❤️ Yes 2 deer are fine but 3 as a grouping, is better! I used to decorate department stores for ten years! Had a blast and loved every minute. It was a learning process, and that was one of the things. Groupings of 3! God bless you and your dear family!🥰❤️🙏

Outside of your home is beautiful !!! There's a saying, If you see something you like ( christmas decorator ) buy it , might not be there next time. If you can, start buying your Christmas Decorator Early, after Black Friday , there's not much merchandise left.

I use teacup hooks to hold my lights and garland. I leave the hooks up all year, and that has made decorating so much easier.

Tip for command strips outdoors, hang them up and let them sit for a couple of hours to set up.

Hi, Crystal, I would get the doe! You may want it next year when it likely will not be available. I’m glad you added lights to the garland. The dark green garland just kind of faded into the black door trim without the lights on. Everything looks great! Your porch looks pretty:) yes I would say you should put out the third deer:) I use cup hooks around my door for our garland and they are white so blend in nicely:) the kids must love coming home after school because you have decorated something else and it’s magical for them:) tfs and God bless:)

Hi Crystal! Give you lots of credit for going out there in the cold! We got that cold snap here but today it was around 48 and so I went out and decorated my front porch. We are supposed to get a rainy cold day tomorrow with possible snow so I think I got it done just in time! I've had no luck with outdoor command hooks. I think it's just too cold in the midwest and they don't stick. Beautiful job on the planter you made! We have a local store that offers that too so maybe next year I will do it! I think it would be fun. I usually buy their basic green outdoor tree and then decorate it myself...LOL

Just a suggestion for your deer. I live in NY state on Lake Erie , we get very high winds. The stakes that came with them did not hold up . I purchased some very sturdy tent stakes at Walmart, they work great, they are longer and bigger around. They have orange hooks at the top so I was a little hesitant ,but they don’t even show pushed down into the ground.

I'm finally done with mine I have to put some ribbon on some things and get my old sled out and put it on my porch to finish it off.
