she bought that clock and a radio to make it a home. and after almost a century on the streets she still smiles. unbreakable Lien. she has clearer mind then most of people with all possible care.
I was born in Hanoi and lived there for 18 years and I must say the first lady reminds me a lot of the diplomatic yet cunning ways the Northerners lead. We can never know if one story is true or just a pack of lies. I used to resent it, and as a result tried to distant myself from them. Now I realize that yes there are con artists everywhere, but if you are lucky enough to be in the position to help others, it's always better to give people the benefit of the doubt. Sure, out of 5 people I helped, 4 could have duped me. But for the remaining one person, my help could have been something that they desperately needed. And that is all that matters. Thank you Troy and you generous donors btw.
Troy you are priceless. Keep up the good work. To Rex and Laura my god shine down on you and all the donors for your kindness...We need more of this during this difficult time Bless to all
At sight just another person looking for garbage on the street, but when you help them and speak to them a deep, detailed and profound story is revealed. As with all of us. You're not just donating to people but you're raising human awareness that will allow others to do the same.
I've said it before, you touch lives. The stories they could share, about their life about their lives. You could tell their eager to talk. Helping the way you do are you and your supporters even aware of the positive impact on your Karma's?? Well done Sir
*There, but for the grace of God, go any one of us. Thanks to Rex and Laura. EDIT----Just think.......Almost ONE HUNDRED years of hard times and no security. Unbelievable!*
*I found the difference in responses of the 84 year old and the 90 year old to be very interesting. The 84 year old lady asked for more, while the 90 year old accepted graciously and thankfully. The 84 yo started immediately in a spiel about her troubles, while the 90 yo talked about her youth and her long hair only after Troy engaged her. Just an observation.*
That was so kind of your viewers to send money for that old woman.Maybe you could help get her off the streets ,like what you did for that spoiled little girl. Happy Christmas to you Troy
@@sharkl11 many homeless people i have meet couldn't handle being looked up inside and tied to one place. They valued the freedom way higher than the comfort, if they like the new flat how can they look back at their lives now that this is so much better that can shatter a whole self identity and worth.
8:05 That old lady is homeless, but she has jewelry that is worth at least a few hundred to thousands of US dollars if you didn't know it. That jade bracelet looks authentic and has the deep green color and translucency that is highly valued. It looks like she has worn that bracelets for decades.
There you go again! Going around Vietnam talking with poor homeless people and giving money away. Good job, Troy. Your mother must be extremely proud of you. I wish that more people did the things that you do. I have been helping one person in the Dominican Republic for years, but I have to stop soon so that I can get my own act in order. 👍🏽
Too bad the olde woman isn’t down in DaNang, it’s been chilly there, too, but not too cold. Troy, eat more 🍚 rice and less wheat, it’s healthier for your gut. I eat it in all my meals.🇻🇳🍚👀👍
I think that 1st lady suckered you in. No one's ever helped me before. Wasn't happy will a million.. she wanted more. Knew how to ask and spin a sob story.
Thank you shark 11 for making me feel even worse about myself now that im unemployed and trying to live on 600.00 a month and worrying about my health cause i just had a heart attack and worry about how much that will be and if they pay for the helicopter ride to austin which can cost up tp 55,000.00 yes i would like to be able to give again,to charity. Why am i writting this i should have just not commented
*I'm so sorry for your troubles. Not everyone can donate, but it helps Troy if we watch the videos and allow the ads to run. I also wish I could donate, but it's just not possible. Hoping for better health for you. Keep the faith.*
