Christmas in Britain 1970s 

What sentimental twaddle. My 1970s Christmases weren't like that.

I spent my first nine years during that decade and things were less complicated back then! Rather different now, as I am now aged fifty four!

We never went skiing. Not that I would have wanted to particularly. But life was about family, whether some people wanted it to be or not.
