Come and experience CHRISTMAS in St. Petersburg as we walk along the bayfront in downtown St. Pete. In this video we share footage from the Christmas light displays along Tampa Bay. We visit North Straub Park, the St. Pete Pier and South Straub Park.
This year we are going to miss Enchant St. Pete, the world's largest Christmas light maze, but we are thankful to have some wonderful free light displays in the downtown area.

Wow 50! That’s colder than I thought it got down there. Such an awesome way to spend time & love that it’s free - we have drive through lights but they’re always for a fee. Thanks for sharing!

Yea that is cold for Florida! I think the coldest night we have experienced in Florida was around 37. We are very appreciative to be able to walk to see some of these displays. Thanks for watching :)

@@Explorcation We have just come out of national lockdown, but our region is now in the strictest tier (meaning we can't do a whole lot at the moment!). But numbers are going down (at least in our area) and the vaccine has started being rolled out now so things are in the early stages of looking up - hooray! How are you guys?

I love Christmas lights and am 100% in the Christmas spirit (since like... November!!) I really liked the flamingo. It's too bade the maze was closed. I had tickets to our Toronto Christmas market but it got cancelled due to the lockdown. Enjoy the holidays!!

Hey Guys, Tis the season and for us it's time to drag out the summer clothes, but we still have light displays like you. Love the changing Tree and stepping over the tiles that light up...lol. We have a special display that normally on in the botanic gardens that I go to every year, but due to covid they limited with free tickets and I missed out. I could still see all the houses done up i suppose. Anyway, have a safe and chilly Christmas, think of us over here sweltering in the summer heat!

It still feels strange to us living in a place with no snow during Christmas, but we do still at least get to enjoy some cooler temperatures. It would feel even stranger living in a place that is actually hot during Christmas, but I'm sure it's normal for you. We will definitely be thinking of ya down there in the heat😅

So, I have to share, we walked by that display tonight and the igloo (or possibly a Christmas ornament?) was out of commission...totally dark. I hope they get it back lit up soon, it is one of my favorites! Thanks so much for watching :)

Wow, these lights look so fantastic, and we could feel the festive spirit with watching this. Love the camera angles you used, you really captured the Christmas feeling. Shame that the maize has been canceled, we have had the same here in SA, with many of the annual festivities being canceled this year. Cant wait to see more. ONE LOVE

We visited late in the evening on a weekday, there weren't too many people out at that time. If there were people around a display we waited to take video to focus on the lighs. Thanks so much for watching!

Locals don't go to the parks when it's getting dark. Unsafe.

Thank you for watching, Adi. We are locals and we go to the parks at night and have never had a problem. We also often see many other people in the parks at night, especially shortly after sunset or when the Christmas light displays are lit up as was the case in this video.

Ho Ho Ho Merry Christmas! Love the lights. I saw one tree with lights on it yesterday. I was going to video it but maybe I should get off my butt and go downtown and see if they decorated it and do a real video.
