He's taken scripture out of context about worshipping Christmas trees (read and study Jeremiah for yourself especially chapter 9-10). Also, it's true we don't know day of Christ's birth, a day has been set aside to acknowledge and celebrate.

No, this man has no idea that God is the evergreen. It’s symbolic of eternity. Jeremiah 10:3-5, the heathens would cut down a palm tree, not a fir tree, and would cut the tops out of them. They would deck it with silver and gold. They would nail it and fasten it so that it would not move. The heathens would worship this. It was an idol. I don’t recall seeing the fir tree being mentioned in Jeremiah. You must have a Bible that the kenites have changed.

Presents are glorified Santa Claus is glorified St. Nick is glorified Decorations are glorified Gift giving is glorified But what about Jesus??? It's not about him. Paul starts this new passage off with the word "therefore." This means the upcoming thoughts are the result of his prior statements. In the next verse, Paul will call these concepts "a shadow of the things to come," or something much less important than Christ Himself. In contrast, Paul writes, "let no one pass judgment on you," with regard to four specific areas. First, Paul notes dietary restrictions. The Mosaic law included many dietary aspects, such as not eating pork, an unclean food for Jews. Second, Paul mentions holidays and feast days. Jewish laws included many specific celebrations such as Passover and the Day of Atonement, which were referred to as "festivals." Third, a "new moon" refers to the new moon celebrations in the Mosaic law (Numbers 29:6). Fourth, Paul mentions the Sabbath day. In Judaism, Saturday, the seventh day, was a holy day from sunset Friday till sunset Saturday, during which no work could be done (Exodus 20:8-11). Paul clearly states, in this verse, that these kinds of rules are not requirements for saved believers. The passage immediately before this verse explained that Christ removed all sin and penalty through His sacrifice. As a result, there are no possible works we can do, or need to do, in order to be made righteous with God. This is an idea Paul gave additional detail to in Romans chapter 14.

It’s true. I have a master’s in theology and going through seminary made me look at things totally different than what I was raised on. I haven’t put in a tree in two years and wont this year either.

Most of the holidays that are on our calendar during are due to I believe some conqueror trying to persuade their captures to convert to Christianity. Which is why most "Christian" holidays are sprinkled with pagan rituals.

Jeremiah 10 has nothing to do with a Christmas tree😂study the whole chapter for context

Saturnalia, held in mid-December, is an ancient Roman pagan festival honoring the agricultural god Saturn. Because of when the holiday occurred-near the winter solstice-Saturnalia celebrations are the source of many of the traditions we now associate with Christmas, such as wreaths, candles, feasting and gift-giving . So what they did was take a holiday that was originally kept by the Jewish people in added their own rituals to it . Because you read nowhere in the Bible where Jesus kept Christmas or was he even born December 25th? . If people would have known a little bit more about Jewish feast and history, they would know that their Messiah was actually born during the feast of the Tabernacles when the word became flesh and tabernacled among us . They would also know that when Christ's returns he's going to Tabernacle with us again according to to Zachariah 14 . I do not keep Christmas, and I sure ain't going to keep a holiday that the Roman pagans hijacked and added their own traditions to them .

I agree that we shouldn't keep any feast that God didn't ordain but yet most Christians don't even keep the feast that God did ordain . They don't even know how they point us to the coming of Christ . They don't even know that we will be keeping a Jewish feast and the kingdom when Christ returns . The problem with the church today is they want to remove anything that has to do with the Jewish Jesus in order to keep their feast and rituals that have nothing to do with Christ .
