I have the same Brother machine. My Mom gave it to me brand new in 1996 And yes mine is yellowish too. I'm going to paint it one day, maybe lime green! I don't make journals but RU-vid started playing this and I love what you're doing! 💚

I’ve never thought of painting it that’s such a good idea! Mine also used to belong to my mum, no idea how long she had it before me. Did you notice the washi tape I have to use to keep the front compartment cover in place? It falls off otherwise 😂 and the lightbulb has died and I can’t find information on what the right replacement is because it’s so old!

I loved the star journal but I looked and it is gone 😭. I guess my second favorite is the blue winter one, so I am considering that. They are all beautiful ❤️. I loved the video as well and no I don't think there was too much information in it because if you clicked on the video that is what you needed to know 😂. They are all beautiful. I was going to choose poinsettia because the little cat image was speaking to me! But it got snapped up too quickly! Red trees also looked amazing so picked that one instead 😊 xx You are very talented with your creations.

I just discovered you, so this question may have been asked before, I am wondering if you have a special sewing machine you use just for your journals?

Nope - just a regular old (emphasis on old 😂) sewing machine. If you were using leather or anything like that you’d need a special one but for paper and light card a normal machine works fine.
