I feel ya, I'm the same, I love the thought of painting then I look at my work and say WHHHYYYY???? 😆 My sister is professional artist, (apparently doesn't run in family) and I've always been envious of her ability to just draw anything with ease and it looks like what ever she drew as of it were real sitting in front of you. So unreal how much some people just have a knack for art. It amazes me, and being able to play an instruments is another WOW. Not my gig either 😆

Black has a flattening effect.

The opposite (complementary) color of red is green. It is better to shade with the complimentary color instead of black. It makes things more realistic giving it a warmer appearance.

Well, when you really look at it you just need good paint one big brush one medium and a fine liner, and colors; Red, white, gold, and a grey and black. And you need patience and if your not good at details just go with something more simple. It’s not that hard once you realize how easy it can be I did this painting of course I added a tree instead of grey and had the ornaments hang of of the tree and came out great. Of course not everyone has the artist hand, that’s why people learn and I see why you said that but hey we all have opinions.

@@dxhfeast9517 you can do whatever you want and yes YOU have to let it dry or else you won’t have a clean circle in your ornaments, it will be all smudged, because of the brush while your trying to paint the ornaments.
