Awww sending prayers for your Maxine kitty. I lost my Johnny kitty in April he was estimated to be 17 or 18 yrs old. He had been failing but he was eating and active, so we waited til he took a turn for the worse. I have 5 other cats, and our oldest Little Girl was 21 in June. I say enjoy your time left with Maxine, you'll know when it's the right time to let her go. I loved everything, the colors in your son's room were very nice. I would call that duvet cover color butterscotch, it's a very pretty rich color ! I loved your tree you redid and painted, I just loved the effects of the colors you used. I might have to try that next Christmas season, turned out so beautiful ! And I loved your painted pheasants and birdhouse, I will be keeping my eye out at my thrift shops for some birds like that, they really add whimsy to your Christmas & Winter decor ! I can't wait to see your next video ! 💖 Lynn
Our dear Deborah, don't apologize for your timing in decorating. It seems like everyone is in a rush these days to be the first one done, lol. I, like you enjoy the process of thinking things through and then bringing them to life. You are also D-I-Ying and not out buying, so that is time consuming but so personalized. Which makes a house a home! Waiting patiently to see what else you do. Hugs
I'm so sorry about Maxine 💔 Your kitties are both so pretty and I love when they show up on your videos. I will keep her in my thoughts and prayers. My two kitties both lived to be 18. One had kidney failure and they other heart failed. My G.S also had cancer he was just 9. I still to this day miss them all. The porch is looking so nice. I just love your ideas. Thanks for sharing.
Bless her heart! Hate it about Maxine. As long as she doesn't suffer. Cats are really good at hiding it if they don't feel well. Hope she is around for some time yet ❤
I’m sorry to hear about your sweet Maxine-that’s so hard.💔the bedroom turned out really nice and I love the picture.please keep us informed about Maxine and how’s she’s doing-All the DIY’s are beautifully done,I love them all-thank you for sharing 🫶🙏😘
I love the pheasant picture even tho u r not keeping it, and I love love love the winters one in the guest bedroom! God bless Maxine and your family. I hate cancer! My six yr old wiener dog got lymphoma and I was devastated so I know what you are feeling. Love your videos, Deborah. Hang in there. You are such a fabulous artist! My husband is a veteran. My 19 yr old nephew just went on his first deployment as a new Marine. The family hasn’t been told where he went yet. I am worried. So glad your son will get to see you and stay a while😘
I’m so sorry about your sweet kitty. Tell your son thank you for his service. I enjoy hearing your thought process. I wish I could rearrange the furniture in my house like you do, it really does make the space fresh.
I’m so sorry to hear about Maxine. I just lost my dog in September. It’s so hard to watch our fur babies come to the end but good ole Maxine has had a good, long life thanks to you. Your Christmas decor is all coming together. You’re not the only one still decorating. I’m still working on mine. I just love the process and I’ve done a few DiY’s along the way. I figure I’ll have it done by Christmas. I love how you created the blue spruce effect on your trees. So pretty! Thank you for sharing all your tips and tricks. Looking forward to your Christmas home tour.
I hope everything goes well for Maxine, it’s so heartbreaking when your little fur babies are sick, many prayers and blessings to you and your Family and your Fur babies 🎄☃️🚂🎁❄️🕊️😇🙏🏻💚❤️🧑🏻🎄🎅🏻 looking forward to your Christmas tour.
Deborah, everything is looking gorgeous and I love how your makeovers are making each thing unique and different. Love the porch and that daybed is fabulous.
Thank you so much Deborah for the update on your decorating projects I always look forward to seeing them. You do such unique things and are so talented at what youdo.I loved the view of the woods after the mulching was complete .I hope that you have some time to make some special memories with your beautiful little Maxine my prayers for you all i know your s0n will love his room too. You are such a g00d mommy.
Just saw this at 1:45 a.m. and another boring sleepless Friday night in senior-land suddenly brightened up! Your decorating so far is really pretty. You're making better progress than I am at this point. So sorry to hear about Maxine. I've been there more times than I want to remember. I'm 67 and have 4 one year old kitties, one just diagnosed with lupus. His first treatment is helping so far. I'm hoping he is with me for a long time. Prayers and love for Maxine and you during this time. ❤🙏🙏🙏❤
I’m happy that you are still decorating. So am I. I enjoy watching RU-vid videos and everyone else is totally done. Some are going to winter decor and I’m nowhere near where they are. It’s December 2!!!! I love your style and how you decorate. Beautiful.
So festive and yet not at all commercial, Our little Maxine, God Bless her while she enjoys another Christmas with you and her family. Take care and enjoy your son's home coming.
I love your ideas, decor, and attitude. Graceful. Please, please tell your son he’s appreciated. ❤🇺🇸. In these times it’s more important than ever that these men and women know we care, and pray for them. In my 57 years of living, I’ve never felt such a need to pray for these kids everyday. When you get my age, they’re all kids to me. lol. Also, pleasantly surprised to find out you have a son. 🥰. How wonderful. Somewhere, I’ve missed that video. I came over two or three years ago at the suggestion from Jeff and Angela’s channel MTOH&G. Have a blessed, and beautiful Christmas y’all.
I am so sorry that Maxine is sick. She looked very comfy and cozy on the bed. Your tomato cage trees turned out terrific. I love the painted lampshade. What a great way to extend its usefulness. The Coastal Sage color is perfect for the Blue Spruce effect.
Sweet Maxine! She is so lucky to have you and your family. They both are and it shows they are loved and happy cats. 🙏 I love watching you with your projects. You have the patience of Job my friend! It's wonderful to see! I love the three tree idea on your front porch, even the two look fantastic to me! The picture in the guest room is gorgeous and I know the reveal is going to be just beautiful. Love your choices so far. I know you are so excited to have your son home coming home again. The kitchen is looking beautiful and cozy, can't wait to see more!
Hi Deborah, I sm so sorry about Maxine's diagnosis. She has been an integral part of your family for almost 19 years! that is amazing. She gives and receives lots of love. 💞Prayers for you all. Please thank your son for his valuable service. I am always so happy to see that you have posted yet another great video and to every one. God's blessings to all of you.💖👶
I can see why you love that painting. It is beautiful. So is the frame. It's hard to find beautiful art these days. It looks like you have a good start on decorating. The room change was a good one. One can look right at the TV comfortably. Do whatever makes you and your son happy. That's what matters. Enjoy.
My heart goes out to you in regards to Maxine. I understand what you are going through and will keep her in my prayers and you as well. Merry Christmas 🤗
It's looking great! You're almost finished! The warm white lights are actually YELLOW. The clear incandescent lights are much prettier. I've noticed the difference in the "warm white" this year and I removed most of them for the clear lights. The cool bright lights hurt my eyes and I really dislike them all together. I guess I too picky, but I have lighted garlands around the doorways in my home and the clear lights are a favorite.
Poor little Maxine! As usual thank you for your tour. I’m thinking that pretty golden bedspread is either Caramel or Butterscotch but whatever, it’s lovely!
Oh my word! I LOVE THE PAINTING! It would also look lovely above the blue couch if you put that back in you kitchen after the Holidays. Your sons room will be so welcoming for him. You is one lucky man to have a Mama who loves him so much. Can’t wait to see your finished house. You doing an amazing job. Merry Christmas! Hugs🌸🎄
Absolutely lovely, Deborah!💞 Thank you for the early tour and the inspiration. I love the tomato cage trees!🎄 The flocking on the garland that you used for the trees adds such a beautiful touch.❤ I am so very, very sorry about Maxine's test results, Deborah.😔 In addition to being a gorgeous girl, I've always thought that Maxine has such a truly sweet, dainty way about her. Since first seeing her, I have always looked forward to seeing her in your upcoming videos. Thank you for sharing her with us.⚘
Yes, it's a process when making lovely decor as you are!! Love the blue spruce Christmas trees, my fave of all the varieties of pines!💖 Your plans for each room I find to be so inviting and cozy, just beautiful to see!! I'm really looking forward to seeing the changes as you continue preparing your house for Christmas, always so beautifully executed with your talented hands, Debra!!💖 Loving the change up in your kitchen eating area, lovely relaxing space to enjoy food or warm coffees!! Have always loved the window in that space! Your son's room is gonna be stunning - loving the simplicity of your design! Can't wait to see the golden lights with the duvet cover!!😍 Those wall lamps look so perfect with the bed and other accents in the room - great for a man's space!! Loved every minute, sweet visit! Until next time, 🤗🤗🤗❤️
Love the tomatoe cage trees. Love the tree make over with the sage paint. Love the porch decor and the ideas you have. Love the signed painting you have in the bedroom.
Deborah you are so beautiful (make up is always perfect) and so talented. I love everything you have done here. The bedroom will be very cozy for your son. I love the daybed and lamp on the porch. The trees are fabulous , does the paint hold up well on them from year to year. Oh what can I say I love ALL. of it I certainly hope you get another Christmas with Maxine, so sorry that she is ill. They are a family member and we never want to lose them. But we don't want them to suffer either. I know what you are dealing with. I had a boxer that developed a tumor on his neck. But we were blessed with another year after he was diagnosed. Love those pets.
Your creativity always knocks it out of the park!! I love what you did with the tree in the yard, working in layers from the bottom up. You also got me thinking about what I was planning to do with some older pillar trees I use inside though meant to sidle up to either side of a doorway. They are old MS trees I won’t alter but will change up what I do with them! Thank You!
Wow! I'm so glad I found you! You decorate for Christmas like I do...by using existing decor as a springboard. I've never met anyone who does this. You have totally inspired me to get started!
Hi Deborah, I'm so sorry about your kitty. You are doing the right thing by leaving her be to enjoy some quality to her life. My heart is broken. Give her lots of love. I lost a pup to cancer, even after treatments. I'll never do that again. Your house is stunning and you have such wonderful taste. Have a great visit with your son and thank him for his service.
Thank you so much. I'm so orry for your loss. 😢 It is an emotional roller coaster when they are sick. She is still with us as of today. We are loving on her as much as we can. I will tell give our son your thanks. 🤗 I hope you have a wonderful December filled with lots of fun, decorating and new memories. Merry Christmas! 🎄 and
Deborah you are so talented and we’d watch you whenever yo do your decorating! Love the glass pub table so much but love everything you do! I can’t even believe all you’ve gotten done so anxious to see the rest of your Christmas decorating! The painting is beautiful and your son will love that room! So very sorry about your precious baby! So hard! Your talent for painting is unbelievable! The porch will be awesome cuz it’s beautiful already! Have a great day and can’t wait for more!🎄🌲🎄
everything you have done so far looks absolutely beautiful. I am so sorry that Maxine will not be with you much longer, it's so hard to lose such a wonderful companion after so many years together. looking forward to see what you do next, best wishes to you and your family.
It always looks beautiful at your house. I love your tomatoe tree cages. I am very sorry to hear about Maxine, I am glad she is home spending as much quality time with her humans as possible. I know it is so hard to let go of something that is so loved as our pets. I had a kitty that I had 24 years with and had to put her down with her health issues. All the best and keep the beautiful videos coming.
Im just using what I have too for Christmas. You’re way ahead if me,lol. I haven’t even taken down fall 😳. This is the week for that…wish me luck. I always get inspired by you so you will be thought of this week.❤ btw, that mirror is fabulous!
Always get excited to see you. I love everything you do. You have such great taste. You have a beautiful home. Can’t wait to see what you’re up to next..thanks for sharing. Love ya hugs!
Hi Deborah, so sorry about Maxine, our fur babies are so precious to us, i hope she gets to spend Christmas with you guys! 💕 Your decorating is simply beautiful, i love everything so far, looking forward to seeing the finished decor. Have a wonderful and safe weekend! Hugs ♥️
Thank you so much. Yes they sure are precious. She's been the best cat ans we are blessed to have been her family. ❤️ I have to get busy on decorating or Christmas will be over before I get ut all done. 😆🎄💚❤️🤍 Have a wonderful weekend! Xoxoxo
Hello. That's a beautiful velvet. I think they refer to that gold color as being "marigold". I grew up in a house (born in 76) where everything was marigold.
Deborah, you can give Maxine blueberries, cranberries, and cantaloupe. All of these are rich in vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. They are rich in vitamin C which fights cancer. They are safe for kitties. Be sure to chop them into bite size pieces small enough for your kitty to eat alone or mixed with her food. Do not give her the dried only the fresh. God bless you and God bless Maxine. We hope you all have a Merry Christmas.
I so look forward to your home tour! I am so sorry about your sweet kitty. It's so hard to deal with a very ill pet. Enjoy your time with her. She's had a good life.
Deborah Deborah Deborah ‼️ Good morning, beautiful ‼️ I want to tell you, this video is so inspiring. I enjoy, so much, how you have taken us through a wonderful plan, for your Christmas decor. I love the way you explain your ideas and let us picture the outcome, in our own minds. I can't wait to see the final look.‼️ I am always so excited to see your videos pop up on my phone 🤗. Just wish I could be your neighbor and be able to join in on some of your shopping excursions, but also be able to watch and learn, first hand, of your ideas and techniques. You have given me a desire to be creative. I am in awe of your painting skills. Each piece of furniture, candlestick, or accent piece, all result in a gorgeous designer look. You are such a talented and amazing lady‼️ I want to say, God bless Maxine and you. May He grant you both a wonderful winter of gentle and warm cuddles, by the fireplace. Thoughts and prayers are for you both 💕
Oh my, thank you so very much. I appreciate your kind and encouraging words. 🤗 I would love to have a friend/neighbor that loves to shop, craft and decorate! If you want to move out here to the middle of no where back in the woods, come on down! 😉😆 Where do you live? Have an amazing day and thanks again for being so sweet. ❤️ Xoxoxo
Hi Deborah this was so beautiful seeing everything you have done. What wonderful ideas, l absolutely love the tomato frame trees, l am going to get some and make them. I'm not putting my big tree up this year. Love how you are making everything very special for your son, the room looks amazing. That's so sad about Maxine, do hope she is still with you at Christmas l understand what you are going through. Love the way you have set your home up, it's amazing and beautiful. Thank you Deborah for a wonderful video. ❤❤🌲
I’m so happy to see about Maxine. We lost our 7 year old boy cat to that same cancer 4 years ago, so I completely get what you all are going through. Prayers for all of you during this. And your home decor is beautiful.
Ohhhhhh Deborah, my heart just breaks for you and Maxine. It was heartbreaking enough when you lost her after you moved into your house. I have 5 of my own and I have one that recently has been diagnosed with diabetes. It's such a struggle. They are our family and love them all the same. Hugs and prayers she holds on with you. Please keep the updates coming. Take care and best wishes.
So sorry about your precious cat. I had to have mine put down in April. She was 21. I had Susanna since she was only a few weeks old. She was a rescue kitten.
Thank you for decorating at your own pace! It takes me an extra few days to finally finish my decorating I have to “feel” it when I walk into my room 🙋🏽♀️I’m shopping my house too it’s kinda fun.❤️🙏🏽❤️
You’re always so creative and I love your style I know your home will be beautiful as always ! I’m so sorry to hear about Maxine I’ve always thought she was so beautiful I hope she enjoys everyday that she is still here on this earth and will be thinking of her and for you as well It’s so hard when they get old and sick Many hugs to her ❤
Bonjour Deborah, well my dear, you have been busy for sure. I love the idea of using things that you had and not spend a lot of $ into the decor ; I did the exact same thing this year and everything looks gorgeous (according to my friends). Your porch looks lovely and I will look gorgeous with the third tree. I would not put decoration in the trees that you made - they are beautiful as they are.. That being said, thank you for sharing, until next time, enjoy the process and stay happy. - Rosalind -
I really enjoyed this video, I like seeing how you move your furniture around, gives me ideas, and how you removed lights off of the tree, wow, I also liked how long it was, it’s Sunday morning drinking coffee getting ready for church and enjoying the video
Thank you! Oh, I just baked the perfect cake to go with your coffee. I'll share the recipe in my next video. So yummy! I hope you are having a relaxing evening at home. I have a meat loaf in the oven and I'm holding Maxine. Xoxoxo
I am so excited to tell you that after watching your last video painting that little christmas house brown... OMG !!! i used what i had on hand... and mine came out BEAUTIFULLY!!! what a cutie it is ! i have other houses and now i am thinking of painting them different colors but in this same way ... for next christmas ! thank you for sharing your painting ideas !
The little cabin painting is so pretty and frosty. Makes me think of Alaska or the NW. Wonderful to have your military son home for the holidays. We were both military and understand, also one of my sons always comes at Christmas time and his bday. I'm glad you weren't rushed with your Christmas video, everyone else is done right when I need inspo!😉 I know yours will be beautiful!😊🎄🎁☃️
I can’t wait to see it all finished! I love that mirror in your breakfast room! That is amazing! Now that I’m finished decorating, I hope to work on some diy projects.
I used a twin size quilt, taped around the cushion on my outdoor bench, to coordinate with my other porch decor.. ❤️the tomato cage tree.. plus, anything would look great in that setting
I am so sorry to hear about Maxine’s condition. I’ll be praying for her. I hope you can have her with you for a while.❤ As usual, your decorating is exquisite.
