We meet up with Yorkshire Motoroamers and the Crafty Campervanners at Moreton in Marsh Caravan and Motorhome Club Site in December 2022 for our Christmas Vlogmas Party. While we were camping the temperature dropped and the snow fell, making it a memorable weekend of fun and mischief !

Thanks for watching our videos. We include all things to do with motorhomes, campervans, van conversions, caravans and the great outdoors. We mainly tour the UK and camp around 80 nights per year in our 2021 IH Motorhomes N-680 CRL luxury VW Crafter van conversion. We offer advice, tips and tricks, review campsites and associated products or services. We also occasionally make videos about other trips we take without the motorhome.

Oh winter camping is awesome! And it’s so pretty when there’s snow on the ground. We’ve done that a couple times. We may end up with some snow the next couple days. Was kind of hoping none for Christmas, though. Want my kid to make it home. Merry Christmas, guys.

What a hoot listening to the ladies singing Christmas carols on the way home from the pub, looks like you all had a great time. The snow is still here although seems to be melting a little bit, managed to clear the snow off the solar panels so David is a little happier about that. I’m glad you enjoyed the snow. I saw you with the dogs on Sunday morning. We live in Devon so I had to go south. We hit the snow after about an hour and it took us 3 hours stuck on a hill before the snow plough arrived. The journey took us a total of 7 hours before we got home. Enjoy your travels 🤙

Hi Robert, we had a fabulous weekend and lots of laughs with our friends. We were lucky as it happened going north seemed to be the best exit strategy. However the severe chill of the frost at Chatsworth froze almost all the caravan and motorhome tanks including all the external taps. The site managers had a nightmare in the icy conditions. Glad you managed to get home safely. We came back via the M1 and A14 which was strangely smooth but very mucky (salt, mud and water mix) and poor Smirf had a nice wash yesterday ⛄️ Happy Christmas 🎄 Trev

It is pretty there with the snow. :) My camping threshold is 32°F. Lol. And that would be 1 night, but my rig was old and drafty without a great heat option. Lol

We actually recorded -10 Celsius (14F) and all our tanks froze. It stopped being comfortable at that stage 😳 take care 👍🏻 Trev

We also went to Bourton-on-the-Water and into the museum, I think that is one of the most beautiful towns in the Cotswolds.

How warm is Smurf?

Smirf is so so cosy and we are thrilled with him in winter. We have found that below minus 5 his tanks freeze. We managed to get a little fresh water to the taps but couldn’t drain down. It’s ok though because it’s rarely minus 5 and Smirf seems to cope with a moderate frost 😃 happy Christmas 🎄 Trev
