love this! I plan to do a couple acres of them on my ABNB property. during Christmas time they will be able to stay and leave with a tree if they want. Thank you for the knowledge!
Planning on buying a potted evergreen to use every year as our Christmas tree. This was very educational on making sure the tree will have a nice shape
I started in the business when I was younger than the kid. Now I am the grandfather. Sadly, I left that business in my 20's due to unfortunate circumstances. I still miss it though. When shearing, I never used anything other than a shearing knife. I was able to trim out the suckers and such with the knife as well as pruning shears. In retrospect though, having a pair of hand pruners in the back pocket would not be a bad idea. The hedge shears I would not recommend as it is too easy to ruin the shape of a tree with them and they are too heavy compared to a shearing knife.
