I usually do my big tree with traditional and very personal decorations and my other tree in my granddaughter’s room is covered in pink and green decorations. So, I am with you on this. The traditional tree is not about nostalgia for me but it invites positive and intimate memories of Christmas past. I am saving for another tree to try out current trends. Christmas past, present and future. Too much?

Hi Ramon! I decorate my friend’s house every year for the holidays. This year my theme is “Dr. Zhivago, Russian winter night”. Using lots of deep navy and gold ribbons and balls, with touches of white used in huge furry snowballs and fur ribbon. Also finding very ornate Faberge looking eggs in my color scheme. I also am doing lights in all deep blue (with some gold orbs with twinkling white fairylights). I think it will be dramatic and spectacular. I couldn’t have done it without watching your amazing videos!

I fell in love with the emerald green and gold Ramon. One issue though. We have a cat that insists on climbing the tree no matter how old he gets. I didn't buy exactly what you showed us and used copycats instead. The green velvet ribbon is so lux. My cat would shred it to pieces. A miracle happened. I found 4-inch-wide green ribbon backed in gold, although it's not lamé. I have a ton of poinsettias that are red, which have been spray painted antique white as a base, then painted green. The centers were redone by dipping in a little glue, then dipping in gold glitter. Then I went to Dollar Tree and bought all the botanicals I could find to spray gold or a darker green. Then used floral wire stems and floral taped them to increase the length. I am traditional, believe it or not, and always had a lovely Christmas tree after collecting glass ornaments for almost 50 years. The glass ones are packed away these days. The cat is only 4, so have a ways to go . You have allowed my family to have different decor every year. We can mix and match. It has been wonderful. Thank you, Ramon. Ramon you’re so correct, Christmas is right around the corner. Only this morning I told my husband it’s soo time to take out the tree. Last year my bedroom tree was decorated in emerald green and gold, since then I said those would be my color s for my main tree, so glad to see it’s a 2024 trend. I’m doing green, red, and gold. Last year I invested in new pics and garlands to drape in my tree to make decorating easier on me since I am much older now and have bad knees. I still decorate my entire house.

For our historic home there is a tree in every room. The entryway is black and white, the guest room is sea-foam green, the grand parlor is where the 12’ tree is dressed in an ever expanding collection of silver and white crystal ornaments.

Mint/Flocked/Glittery White-and the Emerald and Gold Trees were my favorites. Would go with my other things the best. I’ve never been able to change all my decorations at once. I think they were all so beautiful. Love that you shared. The red and white at beginning of video was awesome. Liked touches of the gingerbread with the candy also..

Love your video, thank you for sharing. My decorations for the Christmas tree will be royal blue, gold, and other metals. Is like a Middle East/Marrocan style. Is inspired in the Three Wise Men (Reyes Magos) and of course the most important, it will have Nativity ornaments to remember the birth of our King Jesus Christ. I got my inspiration from a Christmas tree I saw years ago at Macys and also from a Hotel in Disney called Coronado Springs where they decorate for christmas Marrocan style.

To go with each years trend turns Christmas into a 'spend fest'. In my younger adult days I tried different 'looks' but eventually went back to the traditional. As a child we decorated a natural rooted tree which we kept in the garden so no waste, with ivy and pine cones, sprigs of berried holly from our own holly tree, slices of dried oranges and lemons, cinnamon sticks , moss, beautiful leaves we had collected . It cost nothing but the joy of using natural materials. Yes we eventually did have electric lights but that was all.

This year it is white and gold for the main tree, my Frosty Friends collection with icicles for the dining room tree, black, white and gold for the kitchen tree and woodland teal and red for the bedroom.

All of them are gorgeous but I was surprised that I lived the mint green and also the owl trees because I always go very traditional. They are very glamorous and also give a peaceful vibe. I am thinking about doing my elves again this year but adding a bit of grinch…as you can see I am traditional with my colors for Christmas but do appreciate all the other fun themes…can’t wait!

I always look forward to your Christmas trends! My living room is blue, white and cream. Like you, I have a grand collection of blue and white vases, too. This year I want to use shocking pink in my living room/ dining room for Christmas. I have 2 flocked pencil trees plus flocked garlands. I will also use shocking pink accent pillows on the couch with shocking pink accents on the dining table. I have grandkids and still decorate the kitchen/ family room in gingerbread and candy canes.

Hello, that Emerald and Gold look BEAUTIFUL ❤️ together. The red and white traditional is BEAUTIFUL TOO. I LOVE the OLD VINTAGE LOOK with all those OLD SANTA'S and TOYS. The mint and flocked tree is BEAUTIFUL TOO. I LOVE ALL the CRYSTAL ornaments. Oh my ALL THOSE OWLS ATE STUNNING....WOW... THE OLD WORLD THEME IS STILL ONE OF MY FAVORITES.
