Great looking winter porch decoration! Totally love it. Also the jazzy version of that song is awesome. Definitely cute as always and my wife and I are looking for things to decorate with. Your channel is always a go-to for inspirational ideas. Thanks Laura!

I add hot water to the soil when I want to remove the winter or Christmas ornaments. That makes it easy to remove. As always beautiful work. You are an inspiration.

Now that Christmas is over and it is March, I would love to see how to transform my winter planter/urns into spring...my greens are still green! Everything dried with color...not sure why...so I took out my giant pinecones, ribbon, and cranberry sprigs...and would like to re use for spring...what should I stick in there? Thanks!

Did you use a floral foam? Also I live in California, so the coldest it might get in December would be 60's &70's during the day and 50's at night. Would these greens hold up in my climate? Also, could you combine fresh and dried or fresh and faux if you can't find all fresh greens? Thank you! So beautiful!

Hello! Just wondering if you stuck the stems right into the dirt or if you used an urn insert! And you don’t need to water this, correct? You just used the water once to act as a frozen glue yes? Thank you so much!

I love the branches sticking out, great and unique addition! Where do you recommend purchasing these plants? it looks like you have them loosely, did you buy then like that?
@gardenanswer
@gardenanswer 8 лет назад
+sweetlyjenn Thank you!!! I bought the birch at JoAnns Craft store, the magnolia and eucalyptus from the florist, and the fresh greens from the nursery where I work. You can use cuttings straight from your own garden, too! I love that about this type of container- anything goes! :) ~Laura

Are your urns cast iron or cement? Where did you purchase them? So lovely! Just found your channel and am binge-watching!!
@gardenanswer
@gardenanswer 8 лет назад
+Carolinagirl5150 They are cast iron! I bought them at the nursery where I work several years back. The company we ordered them from went out of business, so I'm unsure where to purchase them now! For some reason, finding a cast iron supplier is tough!

Garden Answer Thank you so much for the reply! I'll keep looking... Your urns look lovely and I like the squat shape of them and that they are about 20" in diameter. (I believe you mentioned the diameter in a previous comment from another viewer.) Anyway, I love your videos and am now watching Lavender & Leeks! Great referral from you! Merry Christmas!
