please i BEG you to watch & react to these videos you don’t have to record them but i love their performances: - Go the Distance performed by Joshua Colley - Not in that Way (Sam Smith) performed Meghann Fahy - I’m Sorry (Kerrigan-Lowdermilk) performed Meghann Fahy his belts are beautiful & her voice is so angelic you won’t be disappointed!!! ❤️❤️❤️
@@bright5893 I just wanted to tell you that this comment is a 100% true. Half Europe is kinda laughing at yall. Hope it gets better soon tho. Greets from Europe.
Lin-Manuel Miranda actually said in a tweet that “when you have a friend and he can sing in a way you never could, you build the scaffolding so he can soar” and I love it!
He did that for everyone, I think, to some extent, and let them SHINE ✨ I love Christopher Jackson!! Love this song. My other favorite would be Schyler Sisters. Work work!!
Imagine being the actor for George Washington and singing One Last Time on your last show... it would be SO emotional bc it’s both the character AND the actor saying goodbye. Oh my goodness that’d be a phenomenal show🥺😭
I actually saw Hamilton less than 2 weeks before Christopher Jackson left and they had already announced his departure date. He seemed more emotional than normal during this song and even teared up at the end of it. I can only imagine how it was for his last show.
@@juliemacdonald6572 he wasn’t exactly told he could have done more against slavery, the line is “I speak out against slavery…you could have done so much more if you’d only had time” and she was speaking to her deceased husband. It was genius to have Washington behind her, hear that line, and hang his head as if to say “I could have done something too” (although we know he wouldn’t have)
Christopher Jackson possibly adds a cry at the end because he's actually crying at the end. you should also react to Satisfied. I have no idea how Renee Elise Goldsberry performed that 8 shows a week!
I honestly recommend just reacting to ANY of the Hamilton cast, they're all insanely amazing and all give me chills and all ways possible, this song made me ball my eyes out uncontrollably😂 so yah like Anthony Ramos (played John Laurens and Philip Hamilton) or Jasmine Cephas Johns (played Peggy Schuyler and Mariah Reynolds) or literally ANYONE as I said, they're all amazingly talented 😁
I’m an interview Lin was asked about this song. All he said was when you have a friend who sings like Christopher does, you write him a song like this. It was for him
I am officially satisfied 😉 I no longer have to wait for it! Ok I’m sorry, also I absolutely adore this song too! My favourite part is when the whole company joins in at the end!
I would sell half my organs just to see this show live. I would be bawling the entire time, but it would be a dream come true. To see all these amazing actor's play these character's is my personal heavon
Christopher Jackson is amazing! He was great in "In the Heights" as well. That was one of my favorite musicals on the 2000s and my first impression of Lynn.
My favorite vocals from Christopher Jackson is actually during the final note of Guns and Ships when he calls out to Alexander. The way he says Hamilton's name just gives me chills every single time.
My absolute favorite. I am in jaw-dropping awe of this man's voice. I also love the warmth and smiles coming from Lin and Phillipa in the background as Christopher reaches the end of the song. You can see that they too, are enjoying him and are amazed by his talent.
Lol, heck yeah I agree with that, there's a new Twitter account called letters to corpse that it's trying to get boosted so that the fans can give him encouragement.
As much as I've watched this movie, I still cry every single time on this song. I'm such a George Washington fan, and it is phenomenal to feel that Christopher Jackson portrayed him very closely to the man he truly was.
If you haven't seen his performance of this song at the Kennedy Center Honors, break out the tissues. I think Lin had a cold that night, but it doesn't matter. It's all about Chris Jackson, and he knocks it out of the park. I cry every time I watch it.
Much like "Circle of Life," "One Last Time" is one of those numbers that gives me chills every time, no matter who's performing it. Christopher Jackson's performance of it at the White House never fails to bring me to tears.
Could you please react to “Wondering” (Piano Version) by Julia Lester and Olivia Rodrigo? The song is an original from High School Musical: The Musical: The Series and the piano version is the live vocals version used in the show. These actresses are amazing and I really think you’d like this song and even many other songs from the show. It’d mean so much for you to react to it, please?
What I love about her, is that she clearly already knows the show and heard One Last Time at least one time before - and still acts, sounds and looks like she’s only hearing it for the first time and immediately fall in live with Christopher Jackson’s voice 🤗
This is literally one of the best parts of the show. Anyone in this show has to be at the top of their game. Touring company is coming to St. Louis and I NEED to see it live again. Wicked is coming to Kansas City and I need to make the road trip for that as well.
I love this like I feel like this very I underrated like this is my fave song of the whole show and I hardly know anyone with the same opinion but like his voice is just 🤯🤯🤯
Just a random suggestion of something to react to: Songs from Tangled the Series. The show has songs written by Alan Menken, and many of the main characters are voiced by Broadway actors such as Jeremy Jordan, Eden Espinosa, and James Monroe Iglehart. (Plus the original cast from the movie).
Id love if you could react to Denee Benton “No one else” from Natasha, Pierre, and the great comet of 1812! Or you could even do a comparison between her and Phillipa Soo’s song!
This has to be my most favorite song in the whole musical!! I cry every time I listen to it! He is so amazing and gorgeous and talented! I could listen to him every day!! 😍
This song never fails to bring me to tears. It continues to amaze me that hidden within this musical about Alexander Hamilton we are given this absolutely transcendent finale musical number to a George Washington Musical that none of us knew we were going to get. Bravo Mr. Jackson. Bravo. 🥰❤️
I always cry through this song and now I cried watching this. I’m so glad I’m not the only one who just is filled with joy by this song and gets these chills
This performance BLEW ME AWAY in the hamilfilm. The vocal track didn't convey the pure beauty of Jackson's acting on stage, and this is the point where I was surprised I was tearing up. UGH! I knew he was a good vocalist, but this performance is one I can never skip anymore!!
I love that Hannah literally couldn't pause the video after a certain point because his singing is so powerful that it cannot be interrupted, this show is so powerful that it cannot be interrupted. I love it I love it I love it!
Christopher truly has a angelic voice. I always appreciate your positive responses on every song and singer, it's really refreshing! Also I wholeheartedly recommend you to hear a ,,Hey, Little song bird” from Hadestown musical. The lyrics are pleasing for the analysers and philosophers. And the singing is it's own of myth given life. Patrick Page is especially singing low on this one and I always didn't know if what I feel is just peacefulness of the earthy tones that sounds like storyteller's lullaby or the tiredness slowly creeping into my body with it's sweetness covering the secret bitterness. Truly an experience I can say!
His voice is sublime. I feel like he is a bit underrated for this part-in everything I’d heard about Hamilton, I’d never heard anything about him. But this role fits him perfectly.
everyone in the Hamilton cast is so freaking goood, even if they are not like good at singing in a tradicional way (like some people could say about Lin) they can translate their emotions into vocals and I think thats what musicales are about. Chirs does an amazing job here. Incredible. Only him can does this song in this way, so powerfull. Keep doing Hamilton!! I love your videos! hi from Argentina 🇦🇷
I was lucky enough to see Chris Jackson play Washington when I saw Hamilton years ago, and he was beyond amazing. Before that, One Last Time always made me sad, but watching him on stage, seeing that pure emotion on his face... I cried during that song for the first time and I still see his face in my mind when I hear that song. Just... *chef's kiss*
Wait for it from Hamilton would be great, Leslie Odom Jr. is phenomenal in it. Or maybe Say no to this because Jasmine Cephas Jones has some amazing high notes in that song
this is BY FAR one of my favorite songs chris have ever done. it makes me emotional every time he sings it (especially the performance from the white house)
The fact that I know this (and most of the songs in Hamilton) off by heart shows my absolute adoration for both of these guys’ voices. They are incredible ❤️
