The EP "Kathartica" served as my final project for the Donaghey Scholars Program, an honors program offered by the University of Arkansas, Little Rock. The entire project, as its name suggests, constitutes one big act of cathartic vulnerability, and I hope this project elucidates the effort and meaning behind each song. Enjoy!

Congratulations and thank you for this very articulate and beautiful presentation. I deeply appreciate the sincerity and emotional openness with which you shared about all the aspects of creative work on your amazing project. It's not only interesting and engaging on an intellectual level when it comes to how you approach the language or enjoyable when it comes to pleasure the music and the interpretation offer, but it's also deeply sincere it's moving, which gives it an utterly humane quality, an exceptional value. This project obviously promises great things yet to come from you. I wish you much success and I'm looking forward to listening more. Thank you.

Thank you very much! This is very much what I enjoy about using Latin: incorporating the langauge into heart-felt expression - beyond the exercise of learning it as an intellectual exercise, and I am happy that this shone through for you. It was nerve-wracking at times to be this open, but I am happy that I decided to. The act of sharing helps me feel less bound to pretty performance (an external benefit) and the preparation for each translation itself required me to understand myself and hold myself accountable for what I feel (an internal benefit) . I can't wait to dive into more projects like this and share them with you all :) Best to you

@@Pernox Libentissime! And it all shows and is felt very much! I believe you about the nerve-wracking part and the "reward" that comes for being able to pose all those challenges in front of yourself and respond to them without "hiding" or opting for more comfortable and "pretty" ways. But the real beauty is right there... it takes courage, also. It's art. Thank you!
