I know some people don’t like the 14th amendment, but if you think back all the way back, to the first amendment, our founders were debating about whether it needed to be written because they felt like it was essentially embedded in the constitution, but Madison wanted to make sure that there was no equivocation on the matter of freedom of religion and freedom of speech.
Kind of a minor point, but it's interesting that three of the five jobs he cites as normal, middle class jobs at 57:00 are government jobs. No tradesman, no small businesses, no productive positions.
