This video is an ode to humanity: a tribute to those who push us forward as a people. It's a reminder that we're capable of achieving great things: by leaning on the accomplishments of those who came before us, but also harnessing the passion, imagination, and determination of those who see great things ahead.
This new recording of 'Sogno di Volare' is performed by the Royal Opera Chorus, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, and Anna Lapwood on organ. We recorded it at Abbey Road with William Spaulding conducting the ROC, and me conducting the RPO. I'm immensely excited about it, and I hope you all love it as well! It's the first track on my new album 'To Shiver the Sky', an oratorio about the history of humankind's quest to conquer the stars. Lyrics are an adaptation of Leonardo da Vinci's writings on flights, with help from my friend Chiara Cortez. The piece was originally composed as the theme song for the video game Civilization VI.

What I love about Christopher Tin's music is how human it feels. It's a celebration of humanity, all our triumphs and falls, and a celebration of each individual human and the infinite potential everyone holds within them. It always gets me feeling very emotional.

Pyramids are great and legendary cause they did that with ancient tools and methods. Nowadays EVERYONE can build Pyramids, it's not a challenge. It's not a wonder. Humanity anthem must be about be about technology, friendship and cultures, that affected the world we know today (Romans, Italians, Arabs, Ottomans, Chinese ad etc.) No political agenda, no racial/gender/sexuality allignment, no politics. And especially, no war. Humans, of cource, must not forget wars, that happened to not repeat such mistakes, but when you speak of anthem, you expect people to be proud of it, recognizable from one to couple of notes of it's music (Russian(or Soviet), American and British anthems are one of most recognizable ones and should be taken as an example).

We are inspired as we push science to new bounds, and we are myopic as we sacrifice our world to power advancement. We are compassionate We are not good in spite of our acts of evil, nor are those acts of evil failures to uphold goodness. We are all of this at once, simply bundles of traits. The important thing is not to try to change ourselves, but to understand. This video is a pretty good representation of all that.

Before letting us understand how small we are separated, let's think about how big we are together. In a world or racism, homophobia, greed, wrath, social division, diseases, wars, we need to follow the way of unity, love, peace, social inclusion. Only in this way, we can growth together in a world of happyness. I'm italian but i'm first a world's citizen. My nation give birth to Verdi, Rossini, Puccini, Manzoni, Da Vinci, Fermi, Marconi, Galilei... but they was a treasure for all, a gift for all of us, an inspiration for all of us. Three days ago, Ennio Morricone die, in Rome, i've got the honour to sang with him in a beautiful concert, i'm sure that his music live forever, like your @christopher tin, you are gifted from destiny to inspire the whole humanity like thousand of other artists, scientists, doctors, writers... so please, gifted humans, help us to stay in peace, and open the minds of the governors. Always playing this music. It reflects the inner strength of humanity to push themselves forward regardless of the hardships. Like our ancestors in the past, they manage to overcome and adapt. Despite the bad things happening, I still believe in the goodness in humanity and perhaps one day we'll push further.
