Lovely watches have you ever wanted to get into higher end watches, I have sold a lot of mine and consolidated into fewer. I just figured with what I would pay for servicing for more watches would cost me more then if I had fewer watches. Thanks for the great content.

Actually funny you should say that, my first good watch was a Rolex date just oyster perpetual 2 tone on a jubilee bracelet. Purchased new back in the mid 80’s for $$3000. After 5 years of serious daily wear the bracelet was very stretched out and to replace the bracelet in the early 90’s was going to cost $4800 so I ended up selling the watch. My second nice piece was a Omega Seamaster 300 professional. Pre coaxial.

@@canadianwatchmonkey3992 a lot of us seem to have a similar story my first really nice watch was an airking engine turned bezel in the mid 90s I should of never sold it. I was always a one watch guy now I have a few decent pieces some kid some higher and some gs hocks. Cheers

The Christopher Ward Dartmouth is a higher end watch, it's a watch enthusiasts watch and not for someone who buys watches because they are obsessed with branding and buy watches because they think other people will think that the watch looks good on the wrist and wan't to make a profit on them. No one cares. If you are a true watch guy you buy watches because you like them and not go with the sheep, you do your own research.

Big cw fan as well but unfortunately a little bit out of my reach. Definitely would love one someday. The yellow dial is a real highlight of the trio for me. Nice video

You can find nice used ones for very reasonable prices in around the $500 to $600 usd. The prices on CW have steadily increased over the years, but then again just about everything has. Have you heard of Ward hoard?

very interesting choice of favourite brands. Guess mine: Christopher Ward, Oris and mainly Hamilton! All very sympathetic brands with very good quality for very nice prices. Great watches without the 'look what I'm wearing' blabla. Great review by the way, some of ChrWard 's finest !!

Thanks for a fine video. I’ve been a fan of Christopher Ward for nearly a decade. What I really appreciate is how open and available their owners are. I’ve met all three in person several times, spoken to them in the phone and, on a few rare occasions when there has been a problem, they have personally emailed me with a solution. You just don’t get this from most manufacturers! I also own a Dartmouth. Mine is one of my favourites and gets the lion’s share of my wrist time. Keep up the good work and stay well :-)

I just ordered my first christopher ward , after doing a ton of research on cw I've concluded cw is a fantastic company that makes excellent watches . I'm excited to get my new c63 sealander.

@@Swiss_Army_Knife1780 between 3 and 9 seconds a day is still considered very good. -4 / +6 is considered COSC personally I wouldn’t worry about it the watch still has plenty of warranty left, maybe send it it as it gets closer to coming of warranty

@Swiss_Army_Knife1780 2 года назад
@@canadianwatchmonkey3992 Might do so. I just wish that it would gain time (however many seconds) instead of lose it. I have a Seagull 1963 Chronograph with an ST1901 movement that gains time like mad, but it is more convenient than losing time. Hopefully, that can be addressed at the next service interval.
