Chrome OS is a fantastic project but I son't understand because in the desktop page there isn't the possibility to add some widgets, for example the shearch bar of chrome or the clock widget... What do you think about this? Do you think widgets are interesting in the chrome os interface?

I'm not sure what I did but I no longer have the phone hub for my Pixel 6. I tried all the Google Help suggestions but that didn't help. I just wonder if you have any suggestions. I have the same Chromebook that you were using in this video.

I have Lacross enabled. Allows me to have multiple browser profiles.

If chromeos have a easy packet manager and people would build apps for it i think everybody would use it....

Forgot that.. You can type chrome://flags into the address bar and search Lacros-Only or this should work chrome://flags/#lacros-only

So basically, a Chromebook is like using an Android phone but in a much bigger form factor? I've always been confused about that.

Not quite. You get a full desktop web browser, which doesn't exist on Android, and you have the option to natively install Linux software with Flatpaks, among other things. Chrome OS is what Android should be.

the latest updates in user interface have made the Chromebook much worse.. This latest update settings looks way worse.

I think I'd prefer Google to put their OS development efforts all in Android. There seems to be a lot of redundancy, and it's just a matter of time before one of these teams gets overly gutted by their (terrible) CEO.

Definitely understandable for years I've always wanted an experience where everything android just flows across all products like it does for apple it's there but the final polish across the whole ecosystem never gets applied .
