beckerisfly I listen to this every night at wrk for the past 8 years and i still catch myself tearing up. thinking of my mom and dad and how far I've come since then.
There is something magical about this band and their lyrics. It's unreal. Honestly. The best music of all time...screw that, you can't call it music. It's magic. It's beyond any music, this stuff is beauty in its purest form. It is absolutely unreal.
I'm commenting here in late 2017 and I think Mike Buesse is one of the best rappers I've ever heard. Can't think of many rappers today that such an effortless flow, or spit such intricate, vulnerable truth.
I know this comment is 2 years old but I got a few suggestions for rappers you might like. Aesop Rock (check out "None Shall Pass", it's a good entry point) Aes is easily the most skilled rapper of all time. Also an absolutely unheard of underground legend from the Napster days Benefit (start with "Behold") some very clever rhymes. Of course MF DOOM as well but I think most people know him at this point. He's got a style a lot of people either love or hate but try something like "rhymes like dimes" "doomsday" "Sofa King". Also check out Atmosphere if you haven't heard of them (a good start would be something like "modern man's hustle" or "you" or "God loves ugly". If by any small chance you actually read this I am genuinely hoping you can hear some of these songs and let me know what you think. Especially about Aesop Rock because like I said he is a godly rapper. I can suggest more songs from these guys if you like too.
It ain't the same. A guy may be good at rapping, but chronic future has got something that you can't find anywhere else. I hope they get back together again...
This song is hidden in the Album in multiple songs at the end Ex Thank You, Apology for non-symitry but it's a cool Easter egg for them to put it in although kinda annoying on Spotify but cool Easter egg oh yeah one more thing "Time And Time Again... i just found out about this album on their blog a couple weeks ago. i hope to god they have like 10 more copies.... of this and of that is one of my all-time favorites. CF introduced me to passage too, another genius! CF owns hands down.

I LOOOOVE this song. I'm just EXTREMELY upset how this song is the same title as the album and wasn't featured on it. Like, whyyyy? It's only a glimpse of the sample played after "Thank You." They could've added this song before "Say Goodbye" IMO! 😢😎🤔
So now I know what the end of the last song was on the album... I sold the CD for some dumb reason and after listening to their music, from Time and Time Again to New York, NY to this (even though I never heard this song before) I am left wondering why did I even get rid of it? I want to buy it again but with this song on it... I can't find the limited edition anywhere though =(
only thing I know of right now that comes close is Twenty One Pilots but their music is a bit different. :/ Definitely miss Lines in my Face album music
You'll find what you're looking for in the underground hip hop scene. Illogic, blackalicious, atmosphere, etc. You just gotta dive in and see what's out there. Also chronic future has a couple of other songs kinda like this. Nothing left to lose, and I think you got ahead of me.
