I just came across your channel this week and I love it! I have binged watched many of your videos. You are so encouraging and genuine! I don't suffer from fibromyalgia, but I have chronic costcochondritis and Tietze's Syndrome and that is inflammation of the connective tissues that join to the sternum. For me, it is chronic. I am 64 years old and was diagnosed in my 20's. Until recent years, it was under control but for the last 2 years, it has been causing me severe pain in my chest, back, arm and shoulder. I am very limited in what I can do when it is flaring. I so understand when you say people don't really understand invisible illnesses and I feel very depressed a lot of days recently because the flares last for days. Thank you so much for your videos Daniela! You are a strong and inspiring lady and I am so grateful I found your channel ! It sure helps to know others understand! Hope you are doing well! ♥ Geri

Hey Geri, welcome to our little community, and thank you so much for sharing your story with us. It means a lot to hear that the videos have been a source of encouragement for you. It’s tough when our symptoms are so persistent and yet invisible. I really connect with what you're saying about the struggle with invisible illnesses; it’s hard when people can't see the pain we're enduring. I’m glad you found the channel, and even more so, that it brings you some comfort knowing you're not alone in this. I hope today is a good day for you, and remember, we’re here, understanding and supporting each other. Stay strong, Geri, and keep watching. We’re in this together! ♥️

Heat intolerance is real! I've been suffering from it for the past 5 years and it is progressively getting worse. What makes it extra challenging for me is that I prefer to wear long sleeves due to my self injury scars. (my 20's were dark) My additional tips would be: do everything to stay indoors between 12:00-16:00. Cool (not too cold) water, shade, rest, quick 3 minutes showers twice a day are your best friends. When you have to leave the house, plan it well. Think about spots with air-conditioning where you can go in to cool off, places to sit in the shade, places where you can splash some water on your neck. I call summer my house arrest. I'm not looking forward to it, but accepting it and counting the days is all I can do. ❤

I’m the opposite I get more pain with the cold, so I try to have gloves in my purse. Have you thought about carrying ice packs too? It’s harder to come up with solutions to heat, it must be hard to deal with

@CuteCatsofIstanbul Oh, I truly feel you on the struggle with heat intolerance. It sounds like you've really had to adapt and find ways to cope with the summer heat. And I can imagine that wearing long sleeves adds that extra layer of challenge. It's a real act of strength to navigate this while also being mindful of your past and taking care of your present self. Everyone has their battles, there’s no shame in carrying scars-visible or not. They’re a part of your story, a testament to your resilience and survival. You’re taking steps to look after both your physical and emotional well-being, and that’s what really matters.

Wow you are so brave! Well done yo! I am hoping to go to South Africa for Christmas or early next year. I will have to travel with my son because once I sit down I cannot get up and he has to lift me up out of my chair. I love your attitude, I am going to be in pain anyway so why not be somewhere beautiful!, you have inspired me to save and go. My Mum is coming to see me in July she is 82! Thank you so much for sharing. Have I missed a vlog about your Brazil trip? I hope you did go. 😊

Hey Amanda, thanks for such uplifting words! It's great to hear you're planning a trip to South Africa. What an exciting adventure to look forward to! Having your son there to support you will surely make the experience smoother and more enjoyable. And yes, if you’re going to navigate pain, doing it in a beautiful place can really uplift your spirits. How wonderful that your mom is visiting in July! That's sure to be a special time. As for the Brazil trip, you haven't missed the vlog. I’m here right now and still gathering all my thoughts and footage to share the best way I can. Stay tuned! Thanks again for your support! 😊

Thanks for letting me know the correct way to pronounce your name and for sharing your experience! It’s interesting how much our environment can impact our well-being, isn’t it? Getting outdoors and spending time in nature can be incredibly therapeutic, especially when you're feeling boxed in or down from being inside too much. I'm glad you've found something that helps you feel better. Nature has a way of refreshing us like nothing else. Keep taking those moments for yourself, they're so important for our mental and physical health. Thanks again for your comment and for watching the video!

GREAT video! I absolutely LOVED your answer to the second to the last question! And I can't wait to see some travel videos! You have a second channel for your travel stuff, right? I couldn't remember. Brain fog. If so, what is it called?! I'm so excited for your upcoming adventures!!! Have a wonderful night, my friend ❤.

Thank you so much Amanda. ❤️ I haven’t posted too much on my other channel as it is a full time job just to keep up with one, but I do have my first Thailand vlog there. If you would like to check it out the channel is @lostinwonderr I hope you enjoy the travel vlogs. There will be probably two more videos from the Thailand series that I will upload there once I have time to edit. I have so much footage that it’s a bit overwhelming to go through them. And I still have my Mexico trip to edit too. 😁

Hi danni great video. Thanks for answering my pre anxiety question. I’m glad you still had fun despite your pain. Have fun in Brazil with your dad! Wow thought Canada healthcare was way better though

Thanks for dropping by and for your question. I won’t lie, the thought of flying again right now is making me really anxious. I'm in a bad flare and it is a long trip but we'll see how it goes. Health Care in Canada is great for acute stuff. If you find yourself in a car accident or you have a heart attack it's great, but not so good for chronic stuff. 😊

@@tt_looking_glass yeah it seems like a big effort, I hope your anxiety eases and everything works out. I think the longest flight I’ve ever been is 3.5 hours. Ooh I see I’ve gotten things delayed due to paperwork too, hope you get your test soon ❤️

Thanks for sharing your tips! Ginger with a bit of sugar sounds like a tasty remedy. And finding the right balance with caffeine can definitely help. It's interesting how different triggers affect each person differently. I'll keep an eye on wheat and chocolate. Avoiding airborne chemicals is a smart move too. Being gluten-free for wheat-triggered migraines makes a lot of sense. Thanks again for the insights! 🌟👍
