Take 2 cloves in the evening ( I chew them and they are quite pleasant once you get used to them and I wash down with distilled water) if you cant face chewing them make a tea and steep the cloves in the tea drink the tea and swallow the cloves when they are soft.....You can add this to your anti Inflammatory arsenal...

I was strict keto, organic, omad for years, no alcohol, very few carbs(less than 15)but going strict carnivore has helped. Unfortunately i have had long covid since March 2020, first wave, s my body os in an inflammatory response even though i do introduce any via food.

After 6 years of doctoring for all sorts of inflammatory diseases and having no success we discovered, purely by chance that my wife has CIRS which is Chronic Inflammation Response Syndrome caused by mould poising. It is a very debilitating problem and is not picked up in normal blood scans but needs several( you guessed it ) expensive blood tests to prove the diagnosis. We have started a protocol to address the problem and the prognosis is very encouraging. Have to move out of our house and find a new place to live. Keep up the good work on the Videos Oxalates are another cause of inflammation that most people are not aware of, but can cause a lot of problems.

Milk and dairy products are metabolized in an acidic way in the human body and promote inflammatory processes. In order to maintain a certain vital pH value, the body decalcifies our bones in a pinch, which leads to osteoporosis. In recent decades, with our overconsumption of dairy products, the rate of osteoporosis has not decreased one bit. Meat and dairy products promote inflammatory processes in the body and lead to cardiovascular diseases, atherosclerosis, heart attacks, stroke, dementia and diabetes. Plants are metabolized alkaline and have an anti-inflammatory effect! !️

@mg14d26 7 месяцев назад
@@asbeautifulasasunsetAll seed oils, including organic ones, are inflammatory. For salads, it's best to use Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil, which has strong anti-inflammatory properties. When it comes to cooking, use only animal fats like duck or goose fat, or lard if tolerated. Plant-based oils that are suitable for cooking are coconut and avocado oil, which have the highest smoke point. It's recommended to use organic and cold-pressed oils whenever possible.

You need to try eating more meat, fish, eggs and lots of oil and fats. Then you wont be hungry. The only fat you need to avoid is trans-fat: So use butter and never margarine, and use olive oil never seed oils like sunflower, safflower or canola. Put a teaspoon of coconut oil or butter in your coffee, it will give you a good energy supply and stop you feeling hungry. Dont be afraid of fat!! We were sold a lie in the seventies and somehow the paranoia has stuck (though it's getting better as more doctors and scientists understand the new research). Oh if you're not lactose intolerant, eat cheese and yoghurt.

I'm in my late 40s and could feel my health was crumbling the last 5 or so Years, it started with high blood pressure in my early 40s and my weight going up and ended up on HBP tablets, this was all down to my diet. I'd been getting gout now and again and starting to get aches and pains here and there. Overall I felt I was still not the worst diet wise but sugar was one of my sins for eating. I decided to get a full blood panel and this showed not surprisingly high uric acid, high Triglycerides, HbA1c, Creatinine and low HDL and testosterone. I was also getting frequent bloating and acid regurgitation and a lot of phlegm. I knew this was only going to go one way, I'd been the heaviest I'd ever been and I didn't like being on HBP pills either. I did try the carnivore diet for a week just before xmas and I lost a ton of weight, just in that week, but knew xmas was going to be a food fest so decided to get xmas over with and then either start carnivore or go on the cambridge diet, which I had done 5 Years ago with a lot of success, although put it all on again, mainly down to me not really having a plan how I was going to restart a proper eating plan. I think the way I want to do it is get the weight off and then start eating a more carnivore/keto type diet long term. Got a blood test soon to see where I'm at just now as been on cambridge diet for a week so far, but it's going to take about 3 Months to get back down to my ideal weight.

I think most people have bad injuries that they live day to day with not realizing the extent of the damage and the inflammation that is slowly killing them. I have a bad shoulder injury for the past 13 years and let me tell you it wasn't until I started deep FIR healing with an amethyst mat that I started curing my severe underlying nerve damage to the vagus nerve & brachial plexus. I think this injury has probably already taken a good 10 or 15 years off of my lifespan (I am 33).

I take a particular interest in this subject for 2 reasons, firstly because I'm an osteoarthritis sufferer (hip and knee primarily) and second i work in the food industry with flavours and seasonings. I now eat very little bread, this is a major trigger for me and causes all sorts of gut problems, bloating, gas, constipation etc. I use olive oil and butter as suggested and have increased my fruit intake. I still don't get enough fibre but working on that. If people knew what went into their favourite potato crisp flavours for example they would probably never eat them again!! It does seem impossibly hard to make the changes in the beginning but you have to keep experimenting to see what works for you and dont forget to just have the triggers that you can't give up completely in Moderation it will still help. And lastly the sugar is hidden in so many foods once you realise this you are on your way. Ps I'm no expert and still trying to learn myself, but if i can quit smoking after nearly 40 yrs I can surely adapt my diet (the smoking was way easier than I thought)

Hyperthyroidism is an overactive thyroid and can have several causes, so the treatment protocol needs to be appropriate to the underlying issue. Presumably you are working with a medical professional on this but whatever the cause Id say you need to cut down on sweet and starchy food. The joint pain suggest an auto-immune issue. Eating right will help you manage it to a point, but you really need to have all the information you can get on the status of your thyroid. 😢

The detour to healthy omega 3 is fish oil and is completely unnecessary, it is contaminated with heavy metals and microplastics. Fish don't make omega 3, they get it from algae. Low testosterone has definitely been linked to systemic inflammation. Dimishing testosterone with age is a cause of prostate swelling causing the need for multiple toilet trips in the night. Being a vegan is a choice that I respect but it leaves things a little difficult and you will need to supplement in the long run, particularly the B-complex vitamins as well as iron (there is iron in spinach but it doesn't abrorb as easily as animal-based iron) And yes, lectins are water soluble, and mostly found pon the outside of beans, so soaking them in water, or boiling them, will remove or deactivate them. - Andrew

washing beans doesnt eliminate the lectins - they are in the skin of the bean. The processed food in a vegan diet is the worst food for humans as it is totally unnatural. Inflammation is natural process to heal body or it delays healing ?
@shapefixer
@shapefixer 3 месяца назад
Excellent question! Nature's purpose with inflammation is (1) to make it hurt so you are aware of an injury and do not make it worse, and (2) to kick-start the healing process. Once healing starts, inflammation lingers to stop you hurting yourself, but it does slow the healing. So in the latest sports medicine, and injury is allowed to inflame for the first 24hrs to get the healing started, then anti-inflammatories are prescribed to facilitate quicker healing, while the injury is immobilised or supported (strapped) to prevent you from messing it up. However, chronic out-of-control systemic inflammation causes huge problems as the body thinks everything is injured when it is not.

@shapefixer
@shapefixer 5 месяцев назад
I dont think that's true at all bud, but I'd appreciate any suggestions to research that shows that link? The thyroid regulates several metabolic functions through regulated hormone production, and also controls the rate at which your body uses energy. The energy released for use in the cells comes from ATP; ATP is manufactured either from the metabolism of sugar (ie carbs), or fatty acids (from fats and oils). Either way, it ends up as ATP so I can't see how that then makes any difference to the thyroid which regulates it after that. Have to say based on my knowledge of metabolism your nclainm sounds wrong, but always happy to learn. Thanks

Whats your opinion on coconut sugar?
@shapefixer
@shapefixer 7 месяцев назад
@gailm778 Hi Gail, you dont even need my opinion, you just need a basic bit of chemistry here: Sugar is sugar. There are 3 different sugar molecules - glucose, frustose and galactose (the last is not common, so only 2 to bear in mind). "Carbohydrate" is a chemical "family" name for anything built from these basic sugars. (Even "table sugar" - sucrose - is made of glucose and frustose hooked together) So ALL carbohydrates, however they are packaged and marketed as "food", are just chains of these sugars all connected together. That would be sweets, candies, cookies etc as well as ALL starches in bread, pasta, rice, cereals, potatoes, fruit (red or dark berries are OK). It's all a toxic nightmare. So whatever sugar you can get from a coconut is still just sugar. Some carbohydrates are marketed as "healthy" because they contain fibre or some added vitamins or minerals, but that's like adding VitC to a glass of coke and labelling it a health drink. (ps I buy ice-creams for family dinner on a Friday because we love it, and we're human, and healthy eating is a principle not a religion - so we have the occasional cheat to stay sane! - Andrew)

Sugar isn't sugar. A body does not react to honey or coconut sugar like it would to skittles or a can of coke. As a matter of fact, meat even contains sugar. And why, if as he says, "sugar is sugar" are certain berries okay? They contain sugar too. In my opinion the main thing to avoid is seed oils. (Vegetable oils)
@shapefixer
@shapefixer 6 месяцев назад
@@underwaves75 "sugar is sugar" if you're a biochemist, as sugar is a C6H12O6 molecule . There are three shapes: glucose, fructose and galactose. There is no other sugar. You can combine them to make Lactose (in milk) or Sucrose (table sugar) or starches (chains of glucose) but there are still only the three - and once in your blood, they are all glucose. No mysteries there. But you are right to say coke or skittles might have a different effect - at least, to your perception - but id say try eating as much honey as there is sugar in a bottle of coke, and see how you feel. And if you eat a coconut, you are eating a lot of fiber which slows down the sugar "hit" but its still sugar.

I've just watched 2 video's on anti inflamatory foods and both recommended tomatoes for reducing inflamation. You state the opposite.

The science on nightshades (incl tomatoes) is a little contradictory, as there is some evidence for both, so I cut them out to be sure. It's looking like weirdly they can lower some inflammation short term, but cause inflammation long term. Its complicated. I prefer not to go there (though it's easy for me as I dont like tomatoes anyway!) - Andrew

@@shapefixer Hi Andrew,many thanks for your reply.Thinking back I now remember reading that they csn cause inflammation so I guess it's about opinions really and best to ommit them to be sure. Trouble for me is that I love them,even their bright red appearance screams inflammation. Thank you so much for making this video,it has really inspired me. Mick.

Yep, I have horrible skin, but have to eat and need caffeine to get work done (ADD like symptoms). I don’t mind a shorter lifespan. I’m tired. 😂

"Heaslthspan" is more important than "lifespan" - Id rather live another 25 years healthy and happy, than another 35 sick and sore and miserable

Well explained, to the point. Im fighting inflamation due to colon tumor. Followimg, all what you mention. No diary products, no sugar, no gluten. Still i have gut inflamation and visiting the toilet 2or3 times at night with disturbed sleep. Could you please, suggest me a way to get over the inflamation and constant visits to the toilet to pass, large stools. Tony.

Hi Tony. First thing, its great that you're not eating sugar, as cancer cells LOVE sugar - in huge quantities (oncologists identify potential cancers using a PET scan that shows large concentrations of sugar!). Secondly, the tumour in your gut may be impacting your get microbes, so you need to do what you can to feed them and keep them strong. That means Pre-biotics - food for microbes - the most important being fibre. Healthy microbes also work to keep inflammation down. Pls watch my two videos on microbes to understand the importance: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-DpKWoOi3dRw.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-zzzzzLBo6p8.html I really hope you can get this sorted Tony - Andrew

@@barbaramcmillan3835 yes, avoid diary products specially milk, cows milk is ment for the calf, avoid sugar, wheat, any kind of bread and cakes, cookies etc. All have added sugar. Every processed food inside packets have, unhealth seed oils, like sunflower, rapeseed, cotton seed etc avoid them. Instead go with, first pressed olive oil, avacado oil or coconut oil. God bless.

@@shapefixer Thanks Andrew, for reverting back to me. I watched the 2 video links you provided. It was worth watching. Ive now started, millets. Thats much better option for fiber intake, than bread, wheat and rice. As you mentioned, ive also started fresh root of turneric and ginger. Raw or may be, had as a tea. Thanks once again and God bless.
