I live right across the street from him. He thinks I pedal drugs because I'm one guy with 3 vehicles all of which are nicer than his hoopty, yet he says I never leave the house and wonders why I never have anyone over. I don't even want to think what he'll be like once he retires.

Aunt Clara was the definition of the loveable little old lady. Yeah, her spells backfired, but she never meant any harm to anyone. She was respectfull and nice to everyone. Plus, she was the only one in Samantha's family that acrually liked Darrin. I've had the series on DVD some four years, and i still haven't watched the show passed seson 5. It just wasn't the same without her.

I could not stand Sandra Gould and can barely watch those...Abna...Abna...episodes. She was hideous in the Ghost and Mr. Chicken and all the Bewitched episodes. I always hoped there would be an episode where Endora would destroy her.

The scenes in this clip are some of the funnist in BEWITCHED. I love how Sam put things back in Darrin's brief case in ILLEGAL SEPARATION and Sam popping up a pool in her backyard. And, of course, Sam being caught by Gladys hanging pictures. There are hundred others during the series. Love it.

Actually, Gladys wasn't harmless. She's a violator of Darrin and Sam's privacy. In the episode, MOTHER MEETS WHAT'S-HIS-NAME, the "welcoming committee", including Gladys, starting snooping and judging the minute they walked in. Endora had no compunction about taking care of those kids. Sam and Darrin knew who the snoop was and they tried to keep their secret a secret. You know, if Sam weren't such a nice person, she would've taught Gladys a lesson that she'd never forget.

The first Mrs.Kravis was the best! Sadly she died, and that’s why she was replaced, but I always missed the original:) I always missed the original Darrin too, but he collapsed on set in 1969 due to his back pain and producers had to replace him also. Ironically by another “Dick”. What are the odds the second Darrin had the same first name!

People in the suburbs are always minding everyone else's business. They have committees making sure no one is out of line with the color of their house, making sure that all lawns are mowed in a timely fashion, no unusual or strange looking visitors, no loud looking vehicles, no venetian blinds, etc, etc.

I had a mother and grandmother who wore a dress every day. I remember when ladies pants came into fashion, and the first ones with a front fly! Shocking it was! Ladies pants were around in the 30 and 40's, but in my 50 and 60's neighbourhood women did't wear them everyday. I remember mom in culottes sometimes when we went on vacation to the beach.

@@harperstacey9604 More Bewitched trivia you might already know. Dick Sargent who was Darrin #2 was cast originally to play the part but became busy on another show. Tammy Grimes was cast to play Samantha who was first called Cassandra, but Grimes got her own TV show & costarred with Dick Sargent! Marion Lorne who played Aunt Clara was in a show before Bewitched & her character's name was Aunt Clara...they used it for Bewitched because Lorne was known by that name already.
