Due to your post, I believe you are familiar with fluid drive transmissions. I have a problem with my Chrysler 1948 because when I am in first gear (lever up) and I have a slow speed, it tries to do another gear, I suppose to a higher one but it doesn't exist. Do you have any tips to fix that problem?
Santiago Montejo Rozo There are two speeds in the low range and two speeds in the high range. Problems upshifting are hydraulic most of the time. How’s the level of the oil in the transmission? They need to be filled all the way to the top hole with clean 10W oil in order to shift properly.
In the meanwhile of all that gimmicks, million of drivers happily kept the their manual transmission, which enabled them to downshift as needed without flooring gas, and a couple hundreds other advantages.
