Chrysler Pacifica Test Drive

I spent months and months looking at and test driving cars. I couldn't decide between a three row SUV or a minivan. I knew the minivan was way more practical even though my kids are older. I finally had narrowed it down between the Honda Odyssey Elite and the Chrysler Pacifica Limited. I finally picked the Chrysler for several reasons. I know many people will say that Honda is the way to go for reliability however, I could not get past the dated look of the Odyssey, the overall lack of tech features, and $3,000 + in dealer mark-ups. The Odyssey needs a complete refresh. I really disliked how I felt like I was sitting low in the Odyssey, and I also did not like look of the center stack with those big, clunky buttons. The Pacifica is just much more comfortable to drive, the Stow and Go seats are just awesome, the infotainment is so easy to use, it has an amazing panoramic roof, that handy vacuum is fantastic for quick clean-ups, and the Safety Sphere is just awesome for backing up and added safety. Plus, I think it's the best looking minivan. The Pacifica handles really well -- the turning radius is much better than my BMW. It's a breeze to park. The interior is super quiet, and it has a lot of pep. My kids appreciate the ton of USB ports, power outlets, and power reclining backseat. We just took a road-trip to the beach, and I stowed the second row seats so they could completely stretch out in the backseat. So far I have no regrets with my purchase. There is so much room for all of your gear. I know people have negative comments on Chrysler, but so far I see no issues with fit and finish, and I've had no issues with the UConnect system. Plus, Chrysler is willing to go below MSRP which is rare in today's car market.

Sorry to hear that. I have a 2011 with 128,000 miles and still going strong. I did have to rebuild the transmission around 90,000 and change out an alternator around 110,000 miles, other than that, tires and brakes. Sorry you had a bad experience, but thanks for letting me know.
