In this video I am showing the location of ABS Brake Valves Fuse, ABs Brake Pump Fuse, Stability Control System (Traction Control System) Fuse and Anti-Lock Brakes Fuse on Chrysler Town and Country minivan ( 2011 | 2012 | 2013 | 2014 | 2015 | 2016 | 2017 | 2018 | 2019 | 2020 | SE | CVP | AMP | SXT | LIMITED | CREW | VALUE PACKAGE | EXPRESS ).
ABS Light and / or Traction Control Light on? ABS Brakes not working? Stability Control not working? Before doing any deeper diagnostics first check the fuses shown in this video.
If all these fuses are good, then proceed with scanning the vehicle and inspecting the abs sensors, wiring and wheel hubs.

Hi my wheel speed sensor makes my brakes super hard to press every time i start driving. So i cant stop properly. Then the abs, traction, and brake light comes on each time after the car tries to kill me. I removed the J6 and J7 fuses today and all 3 lights are on from the start of the drive and the brakes work a lot better. But i got a check engine light and it says my parkig assist system is off. Id rather be able to stop safely than have parking assist. But ill have to check why the check engine light came on.

Hello, sorry to hear you are having problems with the brakes. I can only suggest that you have braking system fully inspected and diagnosed what is the problem. It is a safety hazard and you want to make sure there is no lights ON and everything works as it should. It could be problems with the speed sensors as you mentioned, low fluid, leaking lines, master cylinder, etc.

@@QuiteAlright what happened was I went to get an oil change and Tire rotation. After I left the mechanic the abs brake and traction light came on. I took it back to him and he said I really needed front brakes. All of it pads,rotors, and calipers. So I did it. The lights still came on and the brakes didn't work. Had another mechanic come out and diagnose. He said it was the wheel speed sensor on my driver's side. He replaced it and still same problem. So he switched it to the passenger side and still same problem. Then my alternator broke and I replaced it. And now my thermostat is broken. All this in 6 months. I can't afford to keep fixing it. I changed the spark plugs and coils myself to save money because my 4th cylinder was misfiring. And just replaced the window regulator myself. It's been a nightmare money pit. Every time I fix something something else breaks before the repair is even done. But I guess that's expected of a 12 year old chrysler nothing is made to last anymore.

@@kryptoart87 Oh wow you really had some bad luck with this vehicle. Sorry I can't help more without looking at the vehicle. I know you put lots of $ in it already, but only thing I can suggest to take it to a chrysler dealer for a proper diagnostics and then you can fix it somewhere else at cheaper hourly rate. I often take my vehicles just for diagnostics if me and my guys can't figure something out

Which fuse is it for the abs module to disable the abs system.

Taking out J7 will shut off your digital and needle speedometer too. You'll be going 45 mph but it'll say zero. Ask me how I know 😂 it happened yesterday. I'm gonna take out J6 only next and see what happens. If that doesn't work right then I'll pull m37

So far just pulling out fuse J6 shuts off the abs and keeps everything else running
