Just watched this on Netflix. What a love story this was. I didn't have the heart to continue till the end after Francis died. Maybe one day I will. But as much as Mary was the body and soul of this show, it always felt like Francis was its heart, and once he was gone, the heart seemed to go out of it. This is a great video. Thanks so much for leaving out the bad parts.

The great love story of Mary and Francis. Even in death, they loved each other. Their kind of love shows that no matter what obstacles you go through, you can always work it out if you truly love someone.

S3 and 4 doesnt exist to me. Mary and Francis went on their trip to Paris and lived happily ever after.

Though the writers didn't give us enough joyful times with Francis and Mary on earth, I will always remember that ending in heaven! It makes me cry no matter how many times I watch it. A man so much in love with a Girl, he gave up everything For her... even herself to arms of other man in front of his eyes to get her healed for the tragedy she faced .. Yet at the last when time came.. He avenged himself by protecting her costing him his life.. Yes he was King of France but more.. He was a KING To her QUEEN.. Long king King Francis ❤️

I loved them together. But Francis' love for Mary was just on another level. His love for her was pure, passionate, loyal, tender, unconditional, patient. I wish to one day find a man to love me the way Francis loved Mary. I had to stop watching once he died for a bit. Have been watching half-assed since, but I was happy to see the final scene. Their love was eternal. It transcended life and even death. My heart hurts!

Mary was a delight at French court. She and Francis married on April 24, 1558. When Henri II died of his joust injuries in July of the same year, Francis (15 yo) and Mary (16 yo) became King and Queen of France, and Francis was named King of Scotland. Their marriage, sadly, lasted only 2 years and 8 months, as Francis passed away from a brain abscess caused by an ear infection in December of 1560. Mary was said to have been “stricken by grief.” So, it’s likely they truly did love each other and that was probably the best two and a half years of her life. It’s said that she fell in love with her second husband, Lord Darnley, and had her only son by him, but never saw the child again after 10 months of age and her marriage to Darnley pretty much fell apart because he was an ambitious ass. I would love to believe that when Mary was beheaded, she woke up just as she did in Reign, next to Francis, the true love of her life.❤

I love the scene of their last dance together (at least I think it was their last dance). I love the fact that Mary talked him through it, giving him the strength till the end. What topped it off was hearing the melody of Stay With Me in the background, because that's all they ever asked of each other. I have many favorite moments and scenes throughout the series but that has to be my top favorite. The chemistry between them two is amazing. Francis was her one true love, and Mary his. (In Reignverse) How can anyone not agree with that?

This tv show literally ripped my heart out. But it was so beautiful sometimes I want to rewatch it all over again

I stopped after Fracis his death, it was and still is too hard to see a grieving queen without her soulmate on her side

my favorite thing about their love story is that it was written so well and the actors did such a good job of portraying the characters love for each other that even after they fell in love and got married i still wanted to see where their relationship would go it didn't lose chemistry throughout the whole entire show.

The journey of Francis and Mary's relationship and marrriage is so beautiful. Afterall its about belonging, trust, companionship and love.

This show is also history, many of these events actually took place and these people really existed. I love the way this tv show represented their love, I hope that it is true. Besides all the bad events that had to be represented, I hope Queen Mary of Scots and King Francis were truly happy during their time together.

I just finished watching Reign and the show ain't the same after Francis died. After S3 E5, I just skipped everything until I reach the end because the ending was my only hope😭 I watched edits to ease my pain but it still made me tear up, I'm crying so hard rn😭 Francis and Mary deserve everything, so much better😭

I sadly can't remember her name but the actress who played Mary will forever be an amazing woman of her craft, the emotion she displays throughout the show will always be my favorite quality of hers. Her screams when she rips down the French and English flags in the throne room are so raw and real, they give me goosebumps every time!
