They’re dropping the ball. After Five Nights at Freddy’s there’s so much interest in the animatronics and pizza theater style restaurants. They could easily make a comeback by going retro, going back to a better pizza, and appealing to the older and younger audience.
@@MarkHeathcliff-bf2im facts. My son is so obsessed and I’m old enough to have been to Showbiz as a kid countless times then on to Chuck E Cheeses so I find myself wishing it still existed. We recently made arrangements (the owner is a nice guy) to drive 3 hours to Smitty’s Super Service. You can see his stuff on RU-vid. He has all of the animatronics and the stages plus so much more history. I swear it was like being a child again. I’ve been on a high from it for two weeks lol. It’s silly but it was just fun. My 11 year old wants to make his own pizza theater restaurant/arcade. I try not to squash my kids dreams but you’re looking at a few million and a business degree 😂 He’s working on his own animatronic though and with this technology and online information he’s going far. Sorry to bore you I could’ve just left it at you’re 100% correct lol. These people don’t care they’re soulless. It’s all bottom line.
@@tobysgamingworld1550 It’s fine! Actually if your interested in that sort of thing in West Virginia there’s an arcade with a working rock a fire explosion band. Place is called Billy Bobs Wonderland. It’s the only other place I know besides Smittys to have a working one on display. So if you wanna go somewhere you can still see the animatronics, enjoy some pizza and play some games there’s that.
Ikr around the 2000s and early 2010s from what I know Chuck E. Cheese was mainly for kids that were over the age of seven now they’re trying to appeal to toddlers, even though toddlers, don’t even know how to play arcade games either they need to appeal to kids that are older and go retro and bring back some old fans or become a baby restaurant
The death of this company is more likely than the Ticket Blaster ever being truthfully removed. I don't know why they're shoving this into stores now when they're doing horribly financially
Luckily they are still in the concept stage, I highly doubt they will be forced into many locations considering how right you are about them making horrible decisions
Remember when CEC actually meant something. ‘Where a kid can be a kid’ Nowadays it’s just become a joke. When I was a kid I loved this place; I lived for it. Kids today are spoiled rotten and going to CEC is a great way for families to get away from the devices and the stresses of everyday life. It’s like a lower budget Disneyland compacted into a small building. The magic is in the fun and interactions shared with customers and crew. Unfortunately today’s CEC is a sad shadow of its former self; relying heavily on trends and modernization. These modern CEC locations have done nothing but turn kids into delinquents and mush brains.
Honestly, I think it's a good idea, despite my nostalgia. Paper tickets are gone, so it's only natural that they'd update the thing with paper tickets at its core to be in line with that. Plus the presence of a clear goal beyond just grabbing paper flying everywhere could really enhance the "look what I just did" factor.
It's a noise maker in my opinion.. So loud, you almost can barely hear the audio from the Animatronic Shows. so I'm kinda glad these ticket blasters are gonna be removed
I'll admit, I don't really care if it gets removed. Mostly because I think the ticket blaster is more well known for being iconic more so than what it actually is, but I will say its sad to see it go but really there's worse things
The ticket blaster could actually fit taller people. This ball blaster game only fits like little kids. I went in that ball collect game and I HAD TO CROUCH TO FIT IN IT!
Yeah, I saw the survey on their website in April. I'm not sure what to think of this machine. I like that the machine not only has Chuck E., but also his three best friends Helen, Munch, and Jasper. I also like that the machine has kind of a "futuristic" appearance. But, they've changed pretty much everything. If the Ticker Blaster is eventually removed, then about the only thing that'll be the same is the slogan (I wonder if they're even going to change that someday?). The locations I go to still have the 2010 version with Avenger Chuck E. on it.
I’ve only been in the ticket blaster once for my 10th birthday, I still have 3 paper tickets (which despite it being 2021 they still had them in the blaster but not for the games) and the magic ticket which the host for my party gave to me, sad it’s going away
I’m ok I find it kind of scary in there. At my brithday or more there. Too wind and hard. Maybe move the sound effect out and put like light on windows that like wind waves or something.
i dont really care that this is being removed but atleast they are giving it a replacement, we very well could just have seen it dissapear with no replacement at all.
Corporate is still committing greediness and pride by wasting a lot of money and cutting down on the entertainment. I have a feeling they’re going out of business.
This just basically a 2.0 ticket blaster but instead or actual tickets it uses plastic balls something i kinda wish that would make this new machine better is they could add some type of coupon or sum to make it more fun but thats just my opinion :) Rip the og ticket blaster
2024 has been a horrible year for cec, I don’t know how much longer it will be til their 3rd bankruptcy. La Mesa is scheduled to be demolished next year
Honestly, it’s a kind of a shame to see the ticket blaster go The ticket blaster has been my favorite since I was a kid when I had my birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese
And they continue to make themselves a weaker version of Dave and Busters sandwiched in a position where there’s often better alternatives for consumers of most demographics
I had two memories of me at the ticket blaster one was at a kid birthday party and he let me go in. It was like 2017 and one for my 13th birthday. Please don't ask but it was a late birthday party for me
