Too bad this location closed. This was a very nice concept unification stage. Opened in 1982 as a Showbiz Pizza Place with RAE, went through concept unification in the early 90s and now it met the fate of closing in 2018.
Wow! Until Show #3 2015, I guess Department 18 is no longer giving permission for Chuck E. Cheese by not singing cover songs anymore. Do you think because they are playing music videos as intermission or avoiding copyright infringements? Well, the regular puppet skits and songs is what I can regularly watch. Sometimes due to the rerunning songs, I can occasionally play games in the gameroom. As of for now, I can just watch the whole show while being there. If the songs or skits are the same the next time, I won't come. I'm here for the new stuff only. So this is my comment!
+Dennabelle Eudela Actually Dept 18 found that it was WAY cheaper to do music videos instead of getting the publishing rights to redo the songs for the characters. That's why they are singing originals.
+Watootsi Jenkins Thank you for telling me! During my visit to Chuck E. Cheese's, the workers there don't even know or understand about it! But they really love me there and they knew that I'm very smart about the CEC Entertainment. The showroom is where I like to be in instead of the gameroom.
@@WatootsiJenkins also they got sued over using a random video without permission in dancing kitten I believe so they had a budget cut that's what I heard from somebody I dont know If this information is true but I think it is
