Rare in-Store footage of the then newly installed Beach Bowzers animatronic side show at the Danvers, MA Chuck E. Cheese*s.
In the Summer of 1989 the Danvers Location received a extensive remodel, removing the last of the previous Pizza Time Theatre decor and theming. The Beach Bowzers were brought in the replace the two previous Lounge and Caberet Shows, The King and the ultra-rare B.B. Bubbles.
The Bowzers were a cosmetic retrofit to the original, previous incarnation of this same canine band known as The Beagles. The Beagles were a spoof of The Beatles, and played their well known songs at Pizza Time Theatre. In the mid 1980s PTT tried to freshen up the show by doing a overlay, producing The Beach Bowzers as a replacement.
By the mid 1990s most Chuck E. Cheese*s Locations had all Lounge and Caberet acts removed, and the focus for animatronic entertainment was in the main Showroom.
