Interesting store. Went there as a kid. First saw Rockafire Explosion there. Closed in 1985. That was my Grampa and my special place. He died in 1985 and I remember he and I being sad. It reopened in 1987 with CEC and the rocker stage. There was a weird period in the 90s that the rocker stage went away and they were just kind of on stage, but it wasn’t this stage. Chuck E was in the middle. I went a few years later and it was this stage with working curtains.
@@djray369 I seen the RAE here too. I remember it closing in 85 or 86 as well. They did reopen in 1987. I was there for the grand reopening and I remember being soooo disappointed that they took the RAE out and replaced it with the CEC rocker stage. I bought all my RAE dolls here. Trying to find pictures or videos of this location with the RAE. Can’t ever find them. Now after a 33 year long run this location is closed now.
Am I the only one in my area that doesn’t have those stages, instead there is a tv screen that shows him dancing and the real chuck e cheese comes here and throws ticket everywhere. Sometimes, he performs next to the lobby. My chuck e cheese is very different compared to them in 2019.
@@kH18809 way back in the early 80s it was. I seen the RAE here and bought the Rae dolls from here too. Then they closed in 85-86 then they reopened in 1987 with the CEC House stage. Was disappointed the Rae wasn’t there no more. And then 33 years went by and now this location is closed, destroyed & abandoned with a lot of great memories of mine. Wonder what ever happened to that show? I’ve been looking for videos of this location with the RAE but never with no such luck.
