He played this as the last song in Calgary. The audience wanted more. He came back and played it again, then eyes of the veiled tempress. Still remember that show. One of the best days of my life.
Saaame! I forgot all about it until I found this album at the goodwill yesterday as a king of the hill joke but instantly remembered playing bass to this one
I had the great pleasure of seeing him live at a small venue in Detroit around 2006 or 07…absolutely the best live performance I’ve seen in my life. I get chills when I think about it. I’m trying to think of how to describe it, but I’m speechless. All these years later ❤
This is the World’s Anthem. Thank You, Maestro Chuck Mangione!🙏🏾👊🏾☝🏾🙌🏾👏🏾💟☮️☯️ PeaceLoveJoyHope to ALL the Children of Earth! Eradicate poverty. END ALL WAR- EVERYWHERE NOW!!!
This song was used as the background theme when the Channel 2 in my country (Teleantillas Canal 2) (Dominican Republic) was closed at midnight. That was when i was a little kid back in the very early 90's, and i always loved to stay awake until midnight just to listen to this masterpiece, and finally i discovered the name of this song.
totally agree obviouslly not the original soundtrack, too clean! very disappointing if you're a horn player, drives me crazy, it's very nearly as bad as watching non musician actors pretending to play
