I don't think Sabbath is on a saturday or sunday as God made the moon to indicate time of worship. Israel waited for the new moon and that's when the Sabbath started. The next day was a holy day, not the Sabbath but a holy day, and also the first day of the new Biblical month, then after that 6 days you shall work and the 7th day is the Sabbath, for this reason the Sabbath was always on the 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th of every month. God knew satan will change times and laws and gave us the moon to indicate the Sabbath, so even if you were in a coma for 20 years and awoke, you will know exactly when is the Sabbath and no one can lie or deceive you. Our God is a God that will provide a solid and concrete way to announce His Sabbath.
What you say does sound correct. I’m curious, how do you obey the 4th commandment of keeping the sabbath? Wouldn’t the new moon be identified in Jerusalem and then the 7th day. So I’m wondering how and what would be biblically correct.
@@wandarobbinsbrooks1473 Hi, the day after the new moon was usually the first day of the biblical month. After that the new moon wasn't visible again for the next 29/30 days. The biblical calendar worked on 30 days per month, and we see this in Revelation during the tribulation, it will be 3.5 years, 42 months or 1260 days as it is written, so 42 x 30 = 1260 days.... exactly as written. So after the new moon was a holy day which was the first day and then after that every 7th day was sabbath. Hope I answered your question right. This way, sometimes you will have 8/9 days inbetween 2 consecutive sabbaths and that gave Israel time to march around Jericho for 7 days without breaking the sabbath law.
You say on Friday the 6th day….😂. There were not days of the week named at that time. Scripture calls it the 6th day. Wouldn’t that be the 6th day from the new moon?
I never mentioned friday, as you said there was no friday. When you follow the biblical calendar then the true sabbath is on a different day every month on our gregorian calendars. In the next day or 2 there will be a new moon, which will be the start of the new biblical month.
