@@guitarttimman Bruce trained with Chuck for about 5 years so Chuck definitely increased his own skills. Chuck deserves a lot of respect considering he is still alive and looking sharp.
I think his movies a terrible in terms of plot and ideology (except for force of one) but that he is a great great martial artists and a wonderful human being unlike Stevan Seagal.
@@stevemorse108 You make a good point about him being a good human being. I distinctly remember him teaching his students to be kind and loving people in the gym and in life.
@@jeffdoeskungfu Yes indeed. He has a great energy and respect for other people. If you had the chance for him to have been your teacher you are very fortunate.
Chuck Norris was a badass. There's a good reason there's so many Chuck Norris one liners. If you're not involved in Martial Arts or a real martial arts fan, you won't realize the person holding the pads for him is one of the most legit martial arts fighters in modern history. Chuck Norris, one of the sweetest guys ever. But boy, in a real situation if he had to, he would tear you up!
Thing that always impressed me about Benny was he did not waste motions he gave no perceptible movement when he punched or kicked and he had that signature counter move when he would block a kick or jam it if you will with his foot or his leg and then kick his opponent off the recoil brilliant techniction
Benny was once called the baddest man on earth........great legend. When I was a teen training in the school dojo, he was my idol. Hell, he was everyone's idol.
So if this was 1997 than Chuck was in his late 50s. He’s in flawless shape here. It’s going to be so hard to see all these classic action guys go off into the sunset.
Chuck believes you should carry live music with you at all times, that way if you are challenged by someone you simply turn on the music, your opponent will think you are crazy and flee.
@@АлексейЛ-р9ш2ж Goes to show know know nothing about martial arts. You have no clue who Chuck is. LMAO!!! Chuck was a pro fighter. A champion. Look him up. People just talk to talk. smdh
@@brucelee-oy4hv Well apparently I am if YOU or any other person say STUPID shyt like Chuck was just an actor. I mean, how fking stupid can you be? So yes...only a dumb a$$ that don't know about Chuck will say dumb shyt like "he was just an actor." LAMO...what a clown.
@@alvaroprietotorres4508 I agree, I've heard him in interviews and many of his talking videos and everything he says is a reflection of who he is. Chuck Norris is very self aware, which is an important thing to learn. Some people might even say that it's more important than being aware of others, because it's self control which does impact everyone.
@@nathannelson6843 me too see and hear in many videos. And the precepts of his style, Chunk Ku Do, are great and his form of life. Chuck remember me a little to Keanu Reeves, in his actitude. Its a pity that not all known his part too.
@@alvaroprietotorres4508 That's very true, Chuck has built himself from the ground up, metaphorically speaking. I would love to meet Chuck Norris and I would have lots of questions for him.
Only because he allows you to see his nice side. Chuck Norris is nicer and more forgiving than God, but also more cruel and merciless than a soul eating Devil.
I wouldn't call his movies spectacular. Those Golan and Globus fecal piles were low budget garbage. Delta Force, Missing in Action I, II, and III, Lone Wolf McQuade, etc., were just junk. Boring, predictable. Zero acting and special effects. Golan and Globus are cousins and specialized in junk movies and Chuck had to make a living. I get it. But no way were they spectacular.
Chuck & Benny "The Jet!" 2 glorious masters, & complete gentlemen! I highly recommend reading Chuck's book, "The Secret Power Within!" If you are a martial artist & a reader, it is what I call, "a book of motivation!" CHEERS!!!
My friends, both of these man are living Legends in their own way and friends! There is no need to compare them. I love both of their styles. These are some amazing kicks. Sensei Chuck has incredible kicks and speed 👏
The vibrational force of Chucks kicks transferred his hairstyle on to Benny! Two awesome legends! Love Meals On Wheels and can remember watching Walker Texas Ranger as a 6 year old!
I was over at Benny's apartment years ago ... I am 71 ... so it was a long time ago. His apartment was filled with trophies LOL! Super nice guy by the way!
@blue waters Good question. Basically, I don't over eat. If you are into bodybuilding then there are 3 basic things you must master. 1) Form 2) Focus 3) a precise diary (log) of your workouts and your diet. Anybody can lift weights even though there is a right way and a wrong way but a proper diet is absolutely crucial for the best results. YOU MUST BE IN COMPLETE CONTROL OF WHAT YOU EAT AND HOW MUCH YOU EAT AND WHEN YOU EAT. Anyone can loose weight but when you get down to 10% body fat or less you must be exact. I suggest 1 to 2 grams of protein per pound of body weight. Eat clean ... low in animal fats and cut out as much sugar as possible. From there it is a matter of manipulating your carb intake up or down to either gain muscle or lose fat. It is a learning experience and you must stick to your guns to make it work. GL!
@vindaloo gay love Cardio, stretching and heavy bag, speed bag work every other day. Weight lifting, split routine, on the days I don't do cardio. I never eat more then a cup of starches and only 1/2 cup of starches when I want to lean out more. My Caloric base line is 2400 cals a day. I never let my self get hungry, that is when we are our weakest in terms of will power. I stop cravings by eating protein ... boiled eggs, chichen, red meat etc. Protein is a poor source of energy and is the most difficult for the body to break down. It actually takes more energy to break down protein then the energy protein provides. Also, limit the cardio because to much cardio burns muscle a long with the fat. You have to learn what works for you!
@Hard style karate Its a life style change. Its hard for people to break old habits ... your heart has to be in it! Lifting and cardio is only a part of it. Its an all day, everyday affair!
Greetings from chuck Norris, Thank you so much for the love and support, by the grace of God I am my humble self and Thanks for your continued support of the official chuck Norris page!
I studied Tang Soo Do from Roger Lacombe and Bob Burbidge out of Thousand Oaks CA back in the 80s and 90s. Norris, Benny and Pat Johnson would frequent the studio and teach classes. It was pretty cool.

If he had to validate this claim he'd have been dead many years ago. Power bomb from Scott Norton, broken back and stopped heart. Urquidez (species of sea squid) would have had no chance against Severn, Shamrock, Gracie, Emilianenko, Mike Tyson.
Chucks done his bit! great athlete and movie star-----But who can not help wondering how Bruce Lee would look at 53 ---bless him!-hope he and Brandon are kicking the night away!!! x
Benny the jet oh man my role model when I was young both are Great Champions and and Men Respect to them both Chuck and Benny still love and Respect you both 🙏 ✌️
Props to Benny for not laughing in Chuck’s face as he does his hand techniques especially the ridge and when he leaves himself wide open to counterattacking
great demonstration of basic but very useful techniques. unfortunately there's too many know it alls in here that think they can do better. i just laugh at some of the comments that try to point out that chuck's technique is bad or that he never fought full contact. the man is a war veteran and made it out alive. that should say enough about his full contact fighting skills and the effectiveness of his techniques...
I see a lot of critics on here criticizing Chuck’s power let him kick any one of you haters and you’ll feel his power when he knocks your asses out cold he is a world renowned martial artist and a undefeated champion in Karate
They hired benny because he's a living legend,in other words benny is inmortal due to his popularity. And of course no mortal on earth could manage norris godly kicks.
It was great seeing two great masters at work. Benny the Jet in his day was unbeatable. A great kick boxer who beat both Japanese and Thai fighters. Chuck Norris was also awesome. Both fast and powerful ruled the Karate circuit in his time.
I think that these guys, Chuck and Benny, are only good by relatively low American standards of 30 - 40 odd years ago. Some of the modern kickboxers, Savate fighters and Thai boxers of roughly the same weight, would be far too good in their prime - Buakaw, Yodsanklai Fairtex, Artur Kyushenko, John Wayne Parr, Nathan Corbett, Simon Marcus, Adesanyu, Raymond Dekkers, Peireras, Jason Wilnik, Joe Schilling, Francois Pennecchio, Rodtang, Walter Goncalvez, Rodlek, etc. The different styles of kickboxing are more wide ranging international sports, boasting a greater global coverage of fighters from Europe, Africa, Asia and Australasia. Benny avoided fights with some Thai fighters who challenged him. I saw Benny get a hiding from a taller and heavier Thai fighter - who Thai clinched him and kneed him repeatedly. He also lost to Billye Jackson - and - late in his career should have lost a decision to a Japanese kick boxer. Benny never beat any Thai national stadium champions, or definitely in a scenario where they could use most of their techniques. John Wayne Parr, Nathan Corbett, Artur Kyushenko and Ramon Dekkers have.
Man this is awesome Chuck Norris is one badass I think he always will be one man he must be 65 or maybe 66 today! I've never seen a man that age and such good shape looking like Chuck Norris the sky can kick anyone's ass he's the best!
