Chuck was beyond talented. Straight death thrash metal that actually meant something behind it. Death and old school cliff burton era metallica is UNTOUCHABLE
I wish i got to see chuck and cliff live before their passing, but i wasnt even born when either died, sucks, a true death metal melodic genius will never be replicated like chuck, same goes for that machine of a bassist
@@helltownsfinest8753 load is gay, listen to before load was released live performances 1991 moscow, 1986 Toronto, 1985 metal hammer, 1989 seattle are some of the best ones
Intro song - Bite the Pain 0:53 - Empty Words 1:41 - Bite the Pain 2:07 - Sacred Serenity 3:03 - Scavenger of Human Sorrow 3:26 - Zero Tolerance 3:37 - Misanthrope 4:02 - A Moment of Clarity 4:57 - Lack of Comprehension 5:31 - The Philosopher 5:52 - Without Judgement 6:51 - Perennial Quest
A Moment Of Clarity, Crystal Mountain, Misanthrope, Empty Words, Overactive Imagination, Flattening Of Emotion, etc, etc, etc... So many good solos. Emotional, powerful, soulful music.
Friends, thanks for the comments, I did that it with all my heart. "A person is alive as long as he is remembered". I realize there are many more cool solos out there, but otherwise the video would have taken 30 minutes. If you like it, feed the RU-vid algorithms, put your fingers up. So that as much as possible of the new generation of metalheads learn about the talent and subtle soul of Chuck. Person lives as long as we remember him.
Спи спокойно Чак, ты ушел лучшим и останется лучшим. Эта музыка дает мне силы, и веру в себя. Твои скоростные запилы и голос со мной навсегда. Death это обращение в новую веру. The sound of Perseverens это само совершенство
Все 3 последних альбома - гениальные. Трудно сказать какой из них лучше. 93 - бомбический состав и соляки Энди Ла Рока, 95 - классика из классики, 98 - полная зрелость. Так что все три - вершина.
I've never really listened to Death before as I don't really enjoy screaming, but these solos are extraordinary and some of the music behind sounds incredible. Thanks for uploading this
Thank you for this video. We must keep Chucks legacy alive. Wish he was still alive today. The world misses you, Chuck. Thank you for including the solo from a moment of clarity. A very underrated song with even more underrated solos from Shannon and Chuck.
God all these solos run together so fucking well... He truly was a master of his craft. I can only hope to be as soulful with my music in the future ❤️
I mean it. There's never been a greater guitarist. Make a man scream make a woman melt. He stepped up and picked up a mantle of greatness that no one even knew existed.
yup!!! Let's not forget the solos of the other guitarists on all Death albums, too. Rick Rozz, James Murphy, Paul Masvidal, Andy LaRocque, Bobby Koelble, and Shannon Hamm. Yes, Chuck was the genius behind the music, but those leads by those other guitarists in the different versions of Death were brilliant in their own right! Chuck hired some great guitarists to complete each album! I really don't have a favorite guitarist of those albums. All of them fucking played insanely beautiful leads!!! Chuck arranged each album flawlessly!!
Sure! But this video was about Chuck himself only, of course i consider every single member who entered the band throughout the years (in this case guitarists) absolutely amazing.
Man I discovered Death and Chuck not even a year ago, I'm almost 32 I feel like I have missed out in my life. Had a great life I don't complain, but would have been a tad better if I discovered this earlier :)
I wish I was as smooth at soloing as Chuck is and I started playing earlier than him but it must of came even more natural to him than me I can't move my fingers that fast lol but practice makes perfect they say!!
Learn the solo to Crystal mountain. It’s a good gateway into learning other death solos. It’s got a lot of the common elements of a death solo, but It’s a lot easier to play than some other ones.
A MUSICAL GENIUS. Chuck's playing was the very reason I learned how to play guitar too. Sadly he left us too early (34yrs old). May he shredd his guitar in the afterlife
For me Chuck's music has been just one fuckin step to appreciate big monsters such as Corelli, Brahms, De Bussie among anothers... In heaven we will look for each other.
If there is a jazz metal, that's the only one! This style is unique and every part of it is a masterpiece! R.I.P and thank you for the music! You will live forever! :(
The Fragile Art of Existence, See Through Dreams, Flesh and the Power it Holds, and Secret Face are some of his best as well! But nice selection overall - Empty Words, A Moment of Clarity, Without Judgement, Sacred Serenity are obvious amazing picks, but nice to see Bite the Pain (so intense), Perennial QUest and Zero Tolerance on here too. And great transitions from solo to solo! :)
I wish somebody could do a Chuck Schuldiner Solo Compilation video with some more of their earlier stuff the past 2 videos I seen has Alot of the latter albums but Killing Spree solo and Scream Bloody Gore solo should be on everybody's top Chuck Schuldiner Solo videos!!
@@Blaze-ing yea I have that video liked def a great one I've pretty much have seen every full album guitar cover we need one tho for Leprosy and Spiritual Healing and their 7th and last album The Sound Of Perserverance I can play leprosy and Spiritual Healing but just the rhythm and bridge parts lol not the solos though
Only afterwards do too many people realise how talented and skilled a musician was until they've gone. RIP Chuck. In fact, you can hear his style in a lot of guitarists who came along afterwards as well

A personal favourite of mine is the solo on see through dreams. The opening lick is so tasty and the rest of the solo feels epic but also emotional . Chuck was really great at making pure shred and speed sound very emotional
