Looks very cool! Just fyi split typeclock washers don't do anything but provide a false sense of security. It's why you never see them in industry anymore. If there is a concern of a bolt vibrating loose you're much better off using a nyloc nut or thread locker.
What sprocket do you have on the output shaft from the cvt? Im doing something similar with a honda helix and not sure whether to use a 12 tooth drive sprocket or go with something larger like you have. Engine is 250cc. I have a rear from a 250cc atv im mating to the helix, just not sure about the gear and chain.
With the new gears in, what is the top speed? Im trying to convince myself to totally build my girls 5o for her trike instead of buying a 150 and building a totally new mount
My gf trike is a 50cc Chinese special. Want to drop a 150 because of the loss of power for a 50cc. Question is you speed threw if on how you got it to match up. Saw you pressed in a new gear ?
Why can't you adjust the cvt to give it more power and a bbk too! Deffo with an efi. I want to do this but I want to same layout as your 238?. Over in the UK we can drive trikes any cc on a car licence.
I wish I could send my trike scooter to you and have it completely gone threw and make it a serious trike and very dependable. And I can ride it every day.
is there are parts specs list - what you used , im looking for some shocks for bumpy roads here in nyc plus i need a soft ride and im a big guy 300 pounds
The shocks with external oil reservoir are not a functional need because the travel isn't long enough therefore it's only for looks. They do look cool but not needed.
Hey, would you happen to know if anyone has swapped out the original motor and gone with a manual? I love the Ruckus looks, but can't see the point in a cvt on a trike. Would it be possible to flip the axle? I understand you'd still need to cut and flip the brackets, or would a quad rear end just be less fuss do ya think?
Dude I love your work I’m wanting to put a Q6 body kit on mine and the shocks you put on that one so I can put air in them and let it out to get a floating ride but I have to find forks to for a 2015 pst 9 cruiser so it’s not a rough ride I hate the way it handles but it takes money. And another thing I would love to see made for them is a faring with a motorcycle headlight and mount’s for turn signals and a cover that covers the rear and give it a clean smooth ride.
Very nice to see happy your on the 3rd vid now... But even still i VERY much would love to see what you would/could do with a mojo trike (or the magic/hawk trikes) but they more rice burner style while the chuks trikes are like muscle car Style and i love the rice burner types
You make me remember when I help a friend to pick up metal scrap. Searching for bikes or bikes parts and try fix them to sell them. My mom garage was the shop lol.
@@RollingWrench most also say that 47mm is 80cc, but we know this not to be true. That's why I said it's best to just state the bore diameter, or do the math for the actual displacement.
Ahhh maaan! I can’t wait for episode 8! I have some big things in motion! Stay tuned. I first need to finish the trike and Grom clone then I’m ready for the next episode. Been sooo busy!
